I'm giving it 5 stars because it's not possible to include full marks. In an informal setting, you're welcomed by courteous and knowledgeable staff.
The first courses (the chickpea and chestnut soup is fantastic) and the second courses (the meatballs are fantastic) are excellent. The fried artichokes took me back to my childhood. I've rarely eaten so well, dining out, not to mention the excellent value. Congratulations.

In mid-September, my family and I, returning from summer vacation, decided to stop at the Viterbo spa, so we stopped in this delightful place that evening. A welcoming place with homey decor. The food is quality, featuring traditional local dishes, and the prices are more than reasonable. The staff was quick and helpful, despite the fact that there was a temporary influx of guests in one wing. The owner, the head waiter, is excellent and a master at communicating with guests. We'll definitely return.
