This is an absolutely beautiful venue with delicious food and wine. We had a girl’s lunch here and it was so fun. The house of the Mona Lisa’s father is very special and totally worth a reservation. The service was fabulous and the space was beautiful with a modern flair.

Fattoria di Vignamaggio is a beautiful, well-maintained place that's constantly evolving. They recently opened a lovely bar overlooking the outdoor area. I'd been there last summer and had lunch in the outdoor space overlooking the hills on a warm but breezy day, and it was great. So I returned to try the brunch, which they typically only offer one Saturday a month, so I recommend making a reservation. We arrived shortly after 11:00 a.m. without a reservation, trusting in the opening hours. After initial hesitation, they fortunately found us a table for two, which was also well-located. The dining room is very beautiful, tastefully decorated and bright, thanks to the large windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. The tables for two are on a slightly raised platform. The service is friendly, and the overall feeling was relaxing and pleasant. You can order à la carte, and the menu features typical Anglo-Saxon brunch dishes. It's also nice that the menu is available in the brunch section of the website and includes prices, so you can get an idea of ​​what to order even before you go. For my main course, I had the croque madame, which I enjoyed, and I appreciated the fact that it was lighter than I expected... 😊 If I really have to comment on the menu, in the dessert section, I would have liked to find an apple pie or a tart with cream and fruit, but there were no tarts or desserts with the classic cream, there was only the waffle with fruit and mascarpone cream (which I don't usually order). I settled for the pancake with fruit and honey, which is served topped with some berries and filled with berry jam. I understand that this is more in line with brunch tradition, but overall, I wasn't very convinced. My partner, on the other hand, had yogurt with fruit and Granola and she liked it. Overall, a place I plan to return to again and an experience I'd recommend.

Being from South Africa and knowing sister estate Babylonstoren very well, we wanted to visit Vignamaggio in Italy. Stunning estate in the heart of Greve in Chianti. It's a beautiful space with photobook views. Had a lovely brunch and did a workshop. Nice shops too. It seems there's still quite a bit of development taking place and vegetable gardens being laid out. Can't wait to see how it unfolds.

The place is very nice, well-kept, and welcoming. The staff is kind and helpful. The dishes aren't very generous. I'd like to leave a small constructive comment, however: the dining room still lacks some preparation on the dishes. The waiters weren't very familiar with the menu and couldn't describe them. With a little more training on the cuisine, the experience could be truly complete... Overall, a pleasant place with excellent potential.

I absolutely fell in love with the food at Vignamaggio. This place captures the soul of Tuscany and translates it onto the plate with refined simplicity and genuine craftsmanship. The Chianti wine–infused fettuccine was unforgettable—perfectly balanced, aromatic, and full of character without ever feeling heavy. The wild boar with mashed potatoes was the true showstopper: incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and cooked with a level of precision that’s hard to come by. Every dish reflects a respect for ingredients and a quiet confidence in technique. Nothing here is done for show; everything on the plate has purpose, harmony, and intention. The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly measured. A beautiful and memorable gastronomic experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to taste the authentic, elegant heart of Tuscany.

We stopped here and couldn't have had a better experience. The view was amazing, the facilities gorgeous, but even better was the service. We had a younger man Alessandro?? who told us about olive oil and wine. He just went above and beyond!

While traveling in Chianti, we spontaneously went looking for a good restaurant. The good reviews piqued our interest, and our expectations were even exceeded. The welcome was extremely warm, and there was a lovely delicatessen where we were able to purchase some delicacies. Afterwards, we enjoyed a buffet in the restaurant that evening with wonderful dishes at a fair price. We didn't get to experience the hotel, but could imagine staying there another time. The place is definitely worth a visit.

A must-see! Charming, chic, modern place, impeccable food! We loved every moment and the view is absolutely beautiful!
