The good reviews intrigued us and we decided to try it. The place outside is nice even if a little spartan. Fixed menu: appetizers (good), pasta (fair), kebabs (normal), dessert (not taken). The starters: crostini with raw sausage, chickpeas in oil and rosemary, fried flatbread with ham and cheese, ricotta balls. Nothing to make you wince, except chickpeas. First course: Spaghetti alla Chitarra alla Teramana: good, but excessively greasy, a touch of oil cooked on the bottom of the Flemish steak. Second course: kebabs without infamy and without praise with side dishes. We are asked how many we want and we ask for 10 for two because the fried flatbreads, the crouton and the grease from the pasta have filled us up. We don't even get dessert. Price: €35 per person with a bottle of house red wine (chilled and unfinished), water and 1 coffee. Definitely too much for what we ate, for the quality of the raw materials and for the prices of the restaurants in Pineto and the surrounding area. Finally, in a farmhouse I expect to eat some products produced by the company, but the owner tells us that there is nothing produced by them and that the chickpeas come from the Sulmona area! Disappointment!

Cenato con la famiglia in vacanza a Pineto per assaporare gusti dell'entroterra, cena top: menù della casa ottimo, abbiamo apprezzato soprattutto gli antipasti e gli arrosticini, atmosfera tranquilla, serata rilassante, c'è anche un'area per bambini con altalene e scivolo. Prezzo super.

Beautiful place, I only went for dinner, but if the rooms are equivalent to dinner, they will be super comfortable. Very good farmhouse dinner from start to finish and plentiful, all typical cuisine, from the starter to the bitters. In love with the Teramo style guitar, I've been coming here for the second year and I'm waiting for the third!

10/11/2024: If you are looking for an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience, you cannot miss a cod dinner at the "Antico Pagliaio" restaurant. This typical restaurant manages to capture the essence of the peasant gastronomic tradition, offering dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. As soon as you cross the threshold, you are greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with rustic furnishings that tell stories of the past and tradition. Bruno, the owner, is extremely friendly and ready to guide you in choosing the dishes, passionately explaining the recipes and the origins of the ingredients. The cod, the protagonist of the evening, was prepared in different variations, each of which enhanced the unique flavor of this fish. Every bite was an explosion of flavors that told the story of our grandparents and the Teramo culinary tradition. To end the evening, we couldn't give up a typical dessert, "cantucci alla teramana", an almond-based biscuit, which added a touch of sweetness to our dinner. In summary, the cod dinner at Antico Pagliaio was an extraordinary experience, which combined tradition, quality and passion for cooking. I highly recommend booking a table and letting yourself be won over by the authentic flavors of this restaurant. You won't regret it!
01/10/2024: An excellent experience, we went to celebrate our child's birthday and found a perfect environment for children, with a large garden, various well-kept animals (ponies, goats, poultry, even curious breeds, turtles... ). As for the food, I can't say anything other than excellent, taste of home with "zero meter" raw materials (on the estate there are large greenhouses with many vegetables). Our guests were all very satisfied and we made an excellent impression at a more than fair price. The quick and friendly service contributes to the welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
