I've been there several times with friends, both for lunch and dinner. The food is typical and high-quality, especially the duck ragù caramels, but otherwise nothing exceptional. The service is truly friendly: all the waiters are very kind and make you feel at ease.
Outrageously expensive: for a first course and a cutlet—shared with a friend and arrived neatly divided between two plates, which is a plus—we paid €45 each. It's okay that there were wines; it's okay that I didn't have coffee or dessert, and since I paid Roman fare, I paid more than I actually ate; but...

The food is very good. The first courses were excellent. The duck candies are filled with duck and served with ragù, so you don't notice the duck too much, but the Bolognese ragù is really good. The crescentine with cured meats were good. The desserts were average, nothing special.

The place is a bit old fashioned... the dinner (there were four of us) was appreciated by everyone... the dishes were well presented and pleasant but no gems... the service was excellent and precise... the prices were not appropriate... some dishes were really too expensive.

Trattoria just outside the city center with ample parking.
Friendly and fast service, friendly owners, excellent food, and a wine list with fair markups.

They're okay, but they have terrible neighbors. We stopped in front of the gate for a chat, and the neighbor (we thought it was all a restaurant) bit our faces. We apologized and moved. It wasn't clear they were in a residential area.
