Behind the Messina courthouse is this truly charming little place... We ate hot and cold appetizers of very fresh, well-cooked fish... The pasta was truly delicious. The only flaw would be to present a menu at least so people could understand the price of the dishes... The bill, in fact, seemed a bit expensive to me. The service was excellent, truly impeccable.

The place is very nice, the food is definitely not of high quality, apart from a few starters. The quality/price ratio is more than anything matched by the service of the very good and attentive waiters. I would recommend presenting the menu as soon as it arrives.

A little corner of peace and tranquility, right in the middle of the city. Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff, the owner manages everything perfectly, and the price is right. I'll definitely be back.

08/01/2026: The food was fantastic. We had very friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy the fantastic view because it was already dark. We will definitely visit this restaurant again in the summer.

14/10/2025: I expected more, but in the end it seemed modest, both in terms of the menu and the workmanship/quality. And also in terms of prices, which were overall high.
04/09/2025: L'Officina di Mare is a centrally located and elegant place. The decor is minimalist but with commendable attention to detail. The food always lives up to expectations, with the fish always fresh and the starters and appetizers delicious. Mario is an excellent host, and the owners are also lovely people. A must-try when in Lipari.
