La Douia In Asti

Una certezza, oramai. Rispetto alle prime aperture serali, è evidente il cambio di passo. La cucina ha trovato una linea ben definita, il menù ruota attorno ad alcuni "signature dish" legati alla tradizione (provate lo stufato, se vi capita) ma propone anche piatti con accostamenti innovativi. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è decisamente buono. Assolutamente consigliato!

Sunday 15th for lunch.....decent but expensive food....a coffee was €3 and they practically kicked us out before the coffee because other people were waiting for the table...grumpy staff...negative experience

Il caso vuole che torniamo ad Asti per le bancarelle natalizie che i nipoti vogliono visitare, e si aggiungono i nonni ai quali proponiamo subito questo simpatico ristorante in zona centrale e già sperimentato in precedenza. La scelta soddisfa ampiamente tutti i commensali, questa volta pranziamo al piano inferiore ed abbiamo una grande tavolata per nove, dove il cordialissimo titolare ci fa accomodare, scusandosi per un menu più contenuto della volta scorsa, apprezziamo il commento ma siamo certi che la qualità del locale ci darà soddisfazione… e difatti ! Le richieste variano e ci sono molti assaggi che ci permettono di gustare un po’ di tutto, e tutto buonissimo 👏👏 Consigliato !

We return after just over a month and we also bring other friends, the owner remembers the grandchildren and has us prepare a nice table where nine of us can easily chat and joke... a nice waitress offers us the menus and will take care of the service with kindness and speed. Several courses with many exchanges for tastings between us, all delicious accompanied by a superb barbera already experienced last time. In Asti there is a restaurant that we cannot forget 👏👏👏 congratulations!

Very tender meat and home cooking. The owner proved himself to be up to the task both in terms of food and knowledge of the products he uses. Compliments.

A nice restaurant in the historic center of Asti. Piedmontese menu combined with a varied wine cellar. The courtesy of the staff is another strong point of the place. We had a very good time and will certainly return to be guests of "La Douia". Definitely recommended
