Sono stato a pranzo con i miei familiari in questa tipica osteria. Abbiamo iniziato con ottimi funghi fritti, crostini toscani, polenta fritta con funghi e un tortino di verdure. A seguire tagliatelle con funghi porcini (porcini buonissimi, affettati in modo encomiabile, di una sincerità estrema...da ricordare), tortello molto buono e tagliatelle con ragù di coniglio...ho terminato con una buona trippa. As a pilgrim on the Via Francigena you are satisfied with little and are used to appearing like a stranger. In this restaurant you will receive a pleasant, friendly welcome from very nice people and the atmosphere is so cozy that you immediately feel at home. Dachshund Otto also contributes to this. Coming to the main thing, I can say that all the starters, main courses and desserts that we ordered from the clear menu were consistently delicious. The portions are not huge, but sufficient if you give the very good taste the opportunity to slowly develop in your mouth. You will be full and satisfied. If I lived locally, I would come back to this wonderful restaurant again and again.

Stunning restaurant to say the least. Fantastic and characteristic environment, immersed in the historic center of Alto Pascio, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by kind staff and the smells of typical Tuscan dishes. The menu is varied and I must say that we were spoiled for choice when choosing between first and second courses. We recommend it for those who want to have a typical culinary experience outside of cities like Pisa or Florence. I recommend the pici alla gricia.

Forse erano alte le aspettative, viste alcune recensioni, ma ho trovato tutto nella media. Alici del cantabrico servite nella loro scatola, se è un modo perché non si creda che siano tali, all'ira meglio servirle addirittura con la scatolina chiusa. Crostini tipici toscani: 2 quadratini di polenta ( fritta con i funghi) e 2 crostini neri 8€: una esagerazione, mi sento preso in giro. Nota piacevole l'assoluto che ha preso mia moglie, molto tenero, ma forse gusto non marcato, come dovrebbe essere 'ossobuco". Pici con sugo di capriolo buono ma, è un problema mio, mi aspettavo pasta fatta in casa. Personalmente ho preso una cappella di porcino ed una porzione di porcini fritti, incuriosito dall'uso della farina di mais, non so perché ma ol mais, forse troppo abbondante, mi sembra di mangiare pietre. Inoltre neanche fossero stati porcini del pratomagno, 26 euro mi sembra un'altra esagerazione. A detta di mia moglie, buono il cheese cane, mentre il tiramisù, con i pavesini, normalissimo. Quindi quanto sopra descritto più una bottiglia da 375 di peppoli e un acqua: 117 Euro. 39 euro a testa per quanto e cone abbiamo mangiato mi sembra un pò esagerato.
