La Dispensa di Aquatio In Matera

We stayed for the Epiphany weekend at the Acquatio Cave hotel and had 2 dinners included in this restaurant. The location is crazy!!! Friendly, attentive and super-prepared staff. The dishes are of a high standard, sublime and super spot-on combinations. The only flaw is too much waiting between one course and another. Both evenings we had to wait quite a while, which is why I find myself forced to give 4 stars instead of 5.

Great cave restaurant, stayed here for two nights in the world heritage thousand year old city of Sassi.
