Very nice little restaurant in a quaint little town. Very pleasant music and great food. Their family made wine is excellent and may be taken away. Prices are rather small compared to other restaurants in Sicily. Strongly recommend

Nice music in a romantic square.
Excellent dishes, typical of Sicily.
Excellent service, the owner speaks French with a charming Italian accent.

Cosy restaurant in the small city of Castiglione. We arrived on a random Thursday at 15:00, when most of other Italian restaurants are closed, and were warmly welcomed. Food and service are great for more than a reasonable price. You probably want to park your car on the outskirts of the city as streets are narrow.

What a fabulous place to have lunch in a beautiful hill top village. The food was delicious and the wine was very good. Service was excellent. Great atmosphere. A lovely meal for the family after exploring the Alcantara Gorge. Just be careful following Google Maps into the village. We ended up parking lower down and walking up after a tight squeeze following Google Maps. SP7i was a better way to go than the way we went.

Most welcoming atmosphere. Hosts are very friendly and polite. The food is very good and portions are very nice too. We had the antipasto, a bis of pasta della casa, which was divine. For mains we had the veal and provolone covered pork chop. Tiramisu for desert was to die for. complimenti alla cuoca, il dolciere e sopratutto alla signora Rita.

We visited years ago, as we were staying in a remote villa which had land, gardens which the Alcatara gorge passed through at a lower level,
owned by a lawyer from Catania. We ate here a few times and I still use the Nonnas recipe for making Caponata.
Lovely people, and home made amazing food.

Dear all. Couple runs the operation. Grandma is in the kitchen. Ordered an antipasto and burrata platter. Both super tasty and of good quality. Lots of variety in the food. In addition to cheese and hams, also vegetables, arancini and a stuffed egg. Awesome.
Parking is challenging in this town with very narrow streets. It is best to park your car at the beginning of the village and walk up the narrow streets.
