It's a shame about the location... the small outdoor space, practically on the street, doesn't do justice to the quality of the food.
Very tasty and appetizing traditional dishes. Rice cooked al dente, delicious homemade pasta. Soft and tender octopus, served with a truly special sauce.
Desserts, including the homemade ones, are excellent!
An even better note: the bill...really fair!!!
The staff is attentive, kind, and very patient, even with children!

Really nice little place with excellent food and generous portions, my partner is celiac and we chose it precisely because it offers almost the entire menu gluten free as well as having very good alternatives plus the staff is super kind and helpful, highly recommended

Congratulations! Good, good, good! We were here in 2023 and now two years later we are back in Tuscany and we decided that one of the two evenings here we absolutely had to eat again at the La Dispensa restaurant. Excellent food, top service and honest prices. Both fish and meat are worth it, I especially liked the octopus alla Luciana (stewed!). Thanks and see you next time!!

Driven by the excellent reviews, my boyfriend and I had dinner at "La Dispensa" and everything we read fully represents the reality: from the friendliness and kindness of the staff (including the cook), to the goodness of the dishes consumed (if you pass by here the cacciucco is a must, indescribably tasty!)
