Everything was truly delicious, with a special mention for the duck, which was exceptional (perfectly cooked, accompanied by delicious puntarelle), and the wine as well (we had a bottle of Umbrian red, Promiscu). But, unfortunately, we probably spent too much for the portions and what we actually ate—a shame.

We went for dinner on Saturday: the only available time was 7:15 PM, but it was worth it. I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
We didn't know it was a special evening with chef Lorenzo Di Iulio's signature menu, and we tried everything: the fried sweetbread bun, mutton meatballs, beef tartare, black beans, and braised onion. To finish, a raspberry cheesecake with tobacco-smoked chocolate ice cream.
Interesting and well-thought-out dishes: a special mention for the sweetbread bun, truly remarkable. I wasn't so sure about the beans, but that's a matter of personal taste.
A great strength of the restaurant is the staff: from the moment you enter to the moment you leave, everyone is friendly, helpful, and able to immediately put you at ease.
I'd love to return to try the "traditional" menu.
The only caveat: the price is quite high for the portions, understandable given the quality of the ingredients, but not for an everyday dinner. Overall, however, a wonderful experience thanks to the location, cuisine, and service.

Pros: Very welcoming place, high-quality food, and creative cuisine. Cons: Overly pushy service, portions too small, especially for the price. Spending almost €50 and leaving so hungry that I have to make up for it at home will make me never return. Maybe I'll go back to buy the excellent products from the food bank.

I loved eating here. Very authentic. A small but creative menu. I discovered a new cheese that I love (Montébore) and a new vermouth that I loved. The waiter was terrific at making suggestions. Not a tourist spot (menu in Italian, Italian speaking staff). Worth a visit. I will return for sure.

On Saturday evening, we had dinner at this bistro-style restaurant. The food was excellent, refined, and unique, with great attention to flavor.
The staff were top-notch: super professional, helpful, and very friendly, they were happy to chat. The chef, a young, truly talented woman, was top-notch.
I absolutely recommend it.

A surprising discovery: excellence and freshness beyond the norm
We stumbled upon La Differenza on Via Magna Grecia almost by chance, driven by the desire to take a break from classic Roman cuisine after days of carbonara, grice, and amatriciana. We couldn't have made a better choice: we were truly fortunate to stumble upon this delicatessen-bistro.
The restaurant is run by a young but extremely professional team, who are pursuing a clear, modern, and decidedly successful gastronomic project. We were so impressed by the lunch experience that we decided to return for dinner, and were delighted to discover that the evening menu is different from the lunch menu, offering an even more refined and original offering.
If you're looking for something "different" in Rome, combining the quality of excellent cuisine with a dynamic and prepared atmosphere, this is the place. A valuable project, carried out with passion. Highly recommended!
