02/03/2026: I learned about this place through Instagram, where they serve Sunday brunch in typical English style: porcelain teacups and teapots, and the setting was reminiscent of a Victorian parlor.
The menu was truly English breakfast fare, ranging from desserts (blueberry pancakes, apple pie with cream, and an English muffin with salmon/avocado and eggs with hollandaise sauce, both scrambled and poached).
The owner, a true British man, was welcoming, and the waiter was extremely kind, accommodating any requests for variations on the menu (for example, there are many dishes with poached eggs, and they were happy to change them to scrambled).
The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent, and the attention to detail in the dishes is truly meticulous.
Reservations are required, and the maximum number of groups allowed is eight.
Although it may seem rigid, it actually fully meets the need to provide an attentive and precise customer experience.
I also really appreciated the transparency; they told us when we booked that we could stay until a certain time, and then, to allow us to chat, the owner moved us downstairs.
Truly appreciated and kind of him.
So, I absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for an experience like this (English breakfast), as well as for groups interested in meeting to discuss books/films/just chatting, because it's a relaxed atmosphere where it's easy to have a chat.
As for the quality-price ratio, I have to say that the prices are average for brunch places (minimum 9 euros up to 15 euros), with the difference that here you get a different experience from the classic American-style one, with excellent service.
I had a cappuccino, a juice, an egg royale, and an apple pie for €30, so it's certainly not cheap, but in line with what's available.
If I really had to find a flaw, it'd be the portions. Some dishes (like the one I had, but I saw others at other tables that were quite generous) lacked a bit in quantity. On the one hand, this perhaps allows you to have room for both sweet and savory options (which I never get at other places), but on the other, it raises the price of the experience because you inevitably spend more by ordering both options.
The only thing I'd like to point out: at the table, you'll find two carafes of filtered water for €2 each, which are added to your bill by default, in addition to the €2 cover charge.
If you don't want this, it's best to let the staff know right away.
22/02/2026: Excellent value, friendly and welcoming staff, and a stunning venue. I celebrated my birthday with an aperitif that everyone enjoyed.
