A charming and welcoming restaurant in the heart of the Monferrato hills, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special evening immersed in the flavors of Piedmont. A small village within a village: a family-run restaurant and rooms, beautifully maintained in an antique style and tastefully decorated, brimming with charm and the flavors of times gone by. The rooms are beautiful, with exposed beams. Comfortable beds and spacious Italian-style showers (without a shower tray). A selection of local wines and an exceptional dinner. A perfect stopover just 15 minutes from Asti. The outdoor jacuzzi (we didn't use it because it was a bit chilly) is the icing on the cake for a lovely weekend with friends. Indoor parking in the courtyard for three or four cars.

I stayed a few weeks ago for both the accommodation and the restaurant, and we had a really great time. The staff is extremely welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We also loved the food! We'd definitely like to return!

29/03/2026: Discovered by chance on a Sunday, we had lunch there, home-made and very authentic cuisine with very fresh seasonal products, excellent!
15/03/2026: A Piedmontese trattoria "like it used to be," the kind that those from the big cities love so much. Its merit lies in its authenticity: a family that divides the kitchen and dining room duties with calm, polite, attentive gestures and a genuine, unpretentious kindness. The food is nothing to complain about! I'm old enough to have frequented these establishments when there were no alternatives in small towns, and I felt transported back in time: this restaurant made me feel young again! Jokes aside, kudos to those who still have the will to keep these restaurants open. No photos, I was busy eating 😉

Arcano Pizza Lounge & Restaurant Design

01/03/2026: The pizza was average, nothing special, desserts, desserts and that's it... They don't surprise you. The service was kind but careless; one evening at a table of four, they forgot a plate, a teaspoon in a dessert, and a dessert didn't even arrive!
18/02/2026: Excellent value for money. Helpful staff. Average prices.
