A very nice restaurant near Porta Messina. Great food and much better value than other restaurants in Taormina.

Price-performance ratio is top! We had a very good Starter and a very good Pasta which was made from the old lady. Maybe it's the grandmother. On the menu they have only house wine but IT is also tasty.

Off the tourist circuit, selected stuff!

The antipasti was delicious as well as the speck and pistachio pasta and the pasta with ricotta and peas! The service was lovely as well. Nice and quiet.

During a business stay in Taormina, the crew following me and I were lucky enough to discover La Cucina di Riccobono, a small restaurant that preserves the most authentic soul of Sicilian cuisine. The welcome was warm and sincere, like that reserved for long-time friends. Here everything smells of tradition, starting from the simple and genuine dishes, where the extraordinary omelettes stand out. And the pasta alla Norma... simply exceptional! Perfectly balanced in flavours, with a light fried aubergine and savory ricotta which enhanced the dish. In a corner of Taormina where it is easy to come across tourist places, Di Riccobono is a true oasis of authenticity. We found not only excellent food, but also a relaxed and familiar atmosphere which certainly made the stay more pleasant.

Ce restaurant, qui ne paye pas de mine de l’extérieur, est un petit bijou à l’écart des restaurants attrape-touristes de Taormine. Nous nous y sommes arrêtées un soir car notre Airbnb était à côté, et quelle ne fut pas notre surprise ! Un menu à 20€ avec un plat d’antipasti très copieux (et très bon) + un plat de pâtes à la norma excellent ou une bonne assiette de viandes. Les plats à la carte sont aussi très bons, de belles salades, des pâtes, des secondi piatti… Même pas la place pour un dessert ! Le service est très agréable, tout est fait pour nous faire passer un bon moment ! On les en remercie ! Tout ça pour un gros maximum (entrée+plat+cocktail) de 30€ par personne. On a tellement apprécié qu’on est revenues le lendemain !!! Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Superb restaurant, with a warm welcome and a attentive chef. The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh and local products. Nothing to complain about, except that I highly recommend this place!
