La Cucina Di Riccobono In Taormina

We had dinner yesterday discovered with the fork we were involved in a very organized and kind environment and the dishes were no different but we could improve it very kind and helpful staff

The food is great. The pistachio ravioli and the spaghetti with ragu I would highly recommend. My only issue is the price, so I would say absolutely go, just be prepared for a high bill. I understand its a tourist town, but 18€ is a lot for one dish, and 4,50€ for a soft drink, plus the cover charge of 3€ per person all adds up to make an overall very expensive meal (but the food quality was still very good).

The food was OK but pricey for what it was

I was there January, 2016. Found this place by accident walking around back alleys of Taormina. Totally a local place, and that's why it was one of the best meals had in Italy. Walked in and it was busy and packed with locals. Didn't know how to order since it was more like a bodega or deli in New York, and my Italian wasn't exactly very polished, barely. But they were very friendly and everything looked soooo good and tasted even better that we returned the next night. The cook or the owner saw us the second day, he had a big smile on his face and said "Ciao!" And while we're eating, he checked back with us and said "tutto bene?" A truly Italian experience. This is why I visited Italy 3 times (a long stay each time) and still badly want to return! I miss the food so often, the buttery flounder, stuffed mushrooms, roasted peppers, stuffed eggplants, herb stuffed tenderloin, rotisserie chicken.... I mean, every single dish was absolutely simple yet full of flavors.

Don't be fooled by the sumptuous menus and shiny signs of the many restaurants in Taormina. If you want to enjoy true Sicilian cuisine, without tricks or deception, then you must sit at the tables of CUCINA DI RICCOBONO. Everything freshly cooked, no pre-cooked pasta, everything taken care of in detail, reasonable prices: in short, you have to try it to believe it! The only restaurant in Taormina where we ate really well, a family and quiet environment. Highly recommended

After a sizzling day under the hot Sicilian sun, a limoncello spritz and a Rosalie insalate hit the spot (think oranges, fennel and red onion). Then I ordered the ravioli filled with spinach and topped with pistachio—every pistachio lover’s dream.

Excellent food and service. The spaghetti with sea food is one of the most delicious I have ever tried. Lots of quantity and soft but with flavor. Great success

Locale rustico e personale accogliente. Abbiamo cenato durante una visita per Taormina. Abbiamo preso un filetto con patate e bibite. Tutto ottimo e prezzi nella media del posto. Consigliato

Looking at the reviews and the excellence certificates, we expect a nice dinner. But the evening was disappointing, Starters (parmigiana) had no taste Main dishes were dry and served on dry roasted bread May be they just had a bad day in the kitchen. But every other restaurant we visited in our Sicily vacation was much better and also not as expensive
