We relied on Altamura to order fresh pasta, which is why they're a safe bet because it was truly delicious. We also bought some sweets, which weren't bad at all. In my opinion, however, it's a bit pricey... but for the price, it's absolutely worth it.
An unexpected lunch decided at the last minute after 2 pm. The flavors of Puglia in Lombardy. The BRASCIOLA REGINA (Queen's Beef) was presented directly by the Chef at the table and was as extraordinary on the palate as the orecchiette with turnip tops and the other first courses! Amazing meatballs! Courteous staff. Punctual and attentive service. Clean and welcoming location. Highly recommended!
Simply amazing! Discovered by chance during a business trip, we were so won over that we dined there the first night and returned for lunch the next day. They offer excellent traditional Apulian cuisine, perfect for an aperitivo or a full lunch or dinner. The restaurant has simple decor and also sells fantastic local products, with the option of eating in or taking out. Quality like this in Varese is a true gem. It will definitely be our go-to place for future business trips!
