Local restaurant with dishes for a good price. Better call to check if they are open though, as Google maps information seem to be outdated.

The service was impeccable 👌🏻 the waitress is kind, speaks English, asked if everything was okay. The vibes were out of this world: family operated, welcoming, fairly clean. If you're looking for authenticity, traditional food made with love then you're at the right place. The portions are HUGE and the prices are okay. I loved every second at this place. Truly a hidden gem🥰

It's hard to classify this place...from the outside it looks stuffy...and from the inside, perhaps even worse, with a lot of mess and dirt. I ate here because a friend had booked for lunch with friends. On the other hand, I found the first courses to be VERY GOOD. The roast suckling pig was VERY good...the grilled meat...I didn't like it...it seemed reheated. The price was below average for what I ate.

A traditional trattoria serving Roman specialties. Welcoming, helpful staff. Two gorgeous dogs. Always free parking within 150 meters, although it's very difficult to find nearby, located a few kilometers from Cattinara.

Everything was perfect. We went to this place for lunch, and I have to say it was quite crowded. The wait was a bit long, but it was worth it. The service was perfect, and the girl in the dining room was very nice and friendly. I read the review before... Yes, there are two giant dogs, but, as the girl also told us, they never come downstairs (where the tables are) unless she calls them. So, I don't know what dogs the lady saw wandering around the tables. The food was perfect and good. The price was below average. It's family-run, and you can tell. We might not be in a Michelin-starred restaurant, but that's what makes it nice. Ps. If you don't like dogs, don't even come in. Dogs are part of the family and don't take anyone into consideration; in fact, they always lie down and mind their own business.

I just have to say that it's the best pizza in all of Trieste ❤️ the dough is super light and doesn't stick to your stomach (I always get ham and mushrooms without mozzarella with buffalo mozzarella) believe me there's no other pizzeria here in Trieste with a dough like this 🍕❤️

Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly, from start to finish. The waitress was very friendly, both to us and to the tourists. Excellent food.

Finally a place where you can eat and not take pictures of the dishes, everything is good, happy people, God help them, long live the "morbin" everywhere and everywhere

I found this place thanks to Google Maps, not being local. It was a perfect choice. It's a traditional trattoria with friendly staff. The Roman saying goes, "If you want a dish you like, it takes time to cook!" (It takes a bit of patience to prepare, but it's worth it). The lady in the kitchen (originally Roman) meticulously prepares the dishes on the spot (I specifically had an excellent carbonara). Generous portions: the one in the photo is considered a "small" portion.
