Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly, from start to finish. The waitress was very friendly, both to us and to the tourists. Excellent food.

I found this place thanks to Google Maps, not being local. It was a perfect choice. It's a traditional trattoria with friendly staff. The Roman saying goes, "If you want a dish you like, it takes time to cook!" (It takes a bit of patience to prepare, but it's worth it). The lady in the kitchen (originally Roman) meticulously prepares the dishes on the spot (I specifically had an excellent carbonara). Generous portions: the one in the photo is considered a "small" portion.

If you want to taste the REAL Roman cuisine, in a classic atmosphere of the typical trattorias of the capital.. this is the place for you!!! Totally family-run, the owners and the environment fully reflect the welcoming, rowdy spirit, with that pinch of irreverent goliardic that distinguishes the Roman people.. and you will immediately feel "at home"!!! The place is essential, a little messy but still clean and welcoming! The dishes can be seen and felt that they are prepared at the moment.. and for this reason you have to wait at the table perhaps a little longer than usual, but the wait will be rewarded by the exquisite goodness of a HEALTHY and TRUE dish, as if it were really prepared by Sora Bea with her own hands!! The possibility of choosing the portions of the first courses (small, medium or large) which are in any case quite abundant is very welcome: my "medium" portion of Cacio e pepe easily reached 200gr.. and it was FANTASTIC.!!! The amatriciana rolls are also delicious, with a sauce that is a must-have for mopping up the sauce!!! In short... a very pleasant and tasty Roman discovery in the heart of Trieste!! 😍😋👍🏼 PS: I forgot to take a picture of the menu... which shows prices that are a little higher than those shown here on Google, since the photos are from SEVEN years ago... but they are still very low!!! 👍🏼

I ate here today with my family, excellent first courses and even the desserts were no different. We were greeted pleasantly and were immediately seated at the table. There was a fairly long waiting time but this was because as it was Easter the place was quite full, they were able to clarify any doubts and helped with our needs. Recommended place.

It's the first time I've been there under the new management. I tried the pizza, not bad, but nothing special, but when you were used to Tazebao with the pizzas, the crocks, the craft beer, the spicy oil made by them... there's no story! The environment has remained the same, the furnishings, the crockery, nothing has been changed, but the atmosphere is no longer the same, it seemed a little messy or perhaps not well looked after, colder, perhaps also because there were very few people (only a couple with 2 little girls who were running around and playing in the room...). The pizza wasn't bad, but not enough to make me want to go back for it. Next time I will definitely try the Roman cuisine, which I think is their forte, because a second chance is due 🙂
