Arriving at 10 to 9 p.m. Friday evening, we were welcomed and it was very nice.

The place, probably recently renovated, looks very good, clean and welcoming, including bathrooms. In addition to having an internal section, there is an external one, under a gazebo. The restaurant offers a fixed menu of €15 (per person) with first course, second course, side dish and cover charge. In our case we have the opportunity to eat linguine with fresh tomato, pork shank and pork chop, accompanied by salad and green beans in butter. The service was super fast and courteous. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner.

Dinner on 07/20/2024 Characterized by different environments, even with a fireplace, with discreetly spaced tables and comfortable table seats, the restaurant, located in the old village of Bardonecchia, enjoys good acoustic comfort, at least in the secluded area where we had dinner. An extensive menu, from which we sampled cured meats (the first courses were good, the second courses were not very local, including spicy esplanade and Milan-style salami), mixed grilled meat, not unforgettable but well cooked, tanned polenta, not too stuffed, and trout, in the opinion of the friend who ordered it, not exceptional. Tiramisu, according to my fellow diners, was good. Overall we ate reasonably well but from a mountain restaurant I would have expected greater attention to the typical products and the choice of ingredients. Courteous and fast service. We happened upon it by chance on our way back from a trip to France and it was a very pleasant experience. Good food, especially the tiramisu was excellent, super welcome from the owner, Mr. Antonio, who made us feel at home and among friends. We will definitely be back as soon as possible.
