A pleasant surprise, found almost by accident. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the location is quaint, accessible via a dirt road about 1 km away, but it's definitely worth it. The dishes are delicious and homemade, and the portions and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended if you're in the area. A few meters away, there's a beautiful waterfall to admire and dip your toes in.

Informal and relaxed, the dishes are excellent (and plentiful). The crescia is addictive, so be careful. Reservations are recommended.

The restaurant is spartan but with a rustic and authentic character, located right next to the waterfalls and featuring large outdoor spaces. We went on the Sunday after Ferragosto (August 15th), and perhaps for this reason the service was quite slow and inattentive to the customers' needs. We ordered tagliatelle with truffle and ragù, but both were barely adequate. The truffle sauce was far too heavy and lacked the typical delicacy of this dish, overshadowed by excessive oil or over-seasoning. The tagliatelle with ragù lacked the typical rustic flavor, also appearing overly rich and almost reminiscent of a packaged sauce. The grilled meat, however, was very good: well-cooked, tender, and flavorful. Unfortunately, the desserts were disappointing: tiramisu, Catalana, and panna cotta. The location is pleasant and surrounded by nature, but the culinary experience unfortunately lowered the overall rating.

We had dinner there on August 10 (2025), so it was very busy. The restaurant is very simple and old-fashioned, but overall good; the food was good. The crescia was excellent.

Excellent food, spent less than I expected (about €90 for 4), very friendly service, dogs are not allowed inside but there is seating outside.

Thank you, Ariosa, for the way you handled our table. I'm vegan, and I ate well, as did my friends. Quick and courteous. I also recommend the place. See you soon.

“A true and authentic restaurant”, immersed in the greenery of the Marche countryside. The environment is rustic and without frills, perfectly in line with the culinary proposal and the natural context in which it is located. The structure is old and quite well-kept, with several seats both inside and outside. After the meal you can take a pleasant walk along the river that leads to the famous waterfalls of Cingoli: an added value not to be underestimated.
The road to reach it is not asphalted, but it is well maintained and easily passable. The menu is simple and well-defined: the absolute protagonist is the crescia, accompanied by typical Marche cold cuts and cheeses. There is no shortage of first courses such as tagliatelle and pappardelle, second courses of grilled meat, side dishes and homemade desserts. The prices are quite interesting, especially considering the quality and authenticity of the ingredients.
We tried the crescia – excellent – and the pappardelle with wild boar ragù. The pasta, rough and cooked al dente, was very good; the sauce, however, in my personal taste, had a too strong tomato flavor that covered a bit the flavor of the wild boar meat, cut into rather large cubes. I wasn't crazy about it.
Even though we were full, we decided to finish with a dessert. I chose the Catalan, which I often prepare at home, and I found it well made and pleasant.
Overall, an excellent stop for those looking for home cooking, generous portions and a simple and sincere atmosphere, immersed in the Marche nature.
