Excellent artisanal gelato. Top-quality ingredients. Among the various flavors, I chose these: Metaponto strawberry and Lucanian pistachio from San Mauro Forte. The owner, whom I met by chance outside the shop, was very kind; I could have talked for hours. Nothing ordinary!

Gelateria Caffè Cremeria dell'Angelo - Fantastic ice cream! The flavor was intense and creamy – just as it should be. A wide selection of flavors, all fresh and of high quality. I also enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the quick service. An ideal place for a sweet break during a stroll through Matera. Card payment was accepted, which is a big plus. The smallest portion cost €3.

Gelato shop near the historic center with a myriad of flavors. Fast service, refreshing gelato, delicious dark chocolate. I recommend the Magnificus flavor: the enveloping flavor of fresh ricotta meets the sweetness of figs. Approved.

Amazing gelato, the best in Matera!! It was so creamy and wasn’t too sweet for our Asian taste buds. We tried other flavours but our favourite is pistachio and chocolate! Their tiramisu is also absolutely delicious, highly recommend!
