My son was popping in and looking at prices everytime we passed a gelateria. This one had the best prices in the area, so we stopped in. The lady working the shop was very friendly and helpful. The prices and scoop sizes were good. The dark chocolate was the best ever! If I lived by this place, I would eat here everyday so it's probably a good thing I don't.

It was 3.5 for each ice cream you see in the photo. It's within the price range found in the city center. I think the chocolate and Matta cream flavors are exceptional. If I could recommend just two, they would be those.

An unassuming "ice cream parlor" that packs a punch. We were absolutely thrilled. I can't remember ever having eaten better ice cream. The almond ice cream is a taste experience. Who can possibly understand all the hype surrounding the highly praised ice cream parlors in San Gimignano? It was okay, but never better, just significantly more expensive.

What delicious ice cream! Lovely, surprising flavor combinations (I had a flavor with vanilla, pistachio, almond, and caramel—heavenly!) and friendly staff. There was a woman behind the counter who very kindly gave one of our children a new ice cream because the scoop fell on the floor. The shop is neat and clean. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Lucca!

Delicious ice cream and good communication in English. Lactose-free ice cream and lactose-free ice cream cones were available. Dark chocolate is recommended.

31/08/2025: The food at "La conca pizzeria" was absolutely delicious. We've rarely eaten such good pizza, the appetizer was excellent, and the tiramisu was divine. The regional wine pairing rounded it all off wonderfully. We'd happily return.
18/08/2025: The pizza was absolutely delicious. The dough was light and easy to digest. The place is cute, with a clean and tidy outdoor area in the summer. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back, and word of mouth is a must. Highly recommended.

03/08/2025: We found this small Asian restaurant by chance, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. It has limited seating and is very well-maintained. Good food and excellent Italian sake. What struck me most is that the owner works alone... with a wonderful sense of tranquility that permeates the air. I highly recommend this restaurant. Congratulations
