La Corniola In Pescocostanzo

I was recently invited to La Corniola restaurant in Pescocostanzo to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had never had the opportunity to visit before, and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is very elegant and refined, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It's no surprise that it's recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, given the high quality of the cuisine and service. I chose a porcini mushroom soup, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Another noteworthy dish was the egg with truffle. The selection of meats for the main courses is equally impressive. The quality of the meat is evident, and every bite was a pleasure. The wine list is well-stocked, with a wide range of both local and international labels. To end on a sweet note, we enjoyed a cake baked directly by the restaurant's kitchen, which fully met our expectations. The prices are absolutely average, especially considering the high quality of the dishes and service. Compared to other restaurants in the area, La Corniola stands out for its culinary excellence and attention to detail. I will undoubtedly return to this restaurant on future occasions, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience in Pescocostanzo.

I've been here with my partner and my children for about a month and I travel around the area a lot and I can say hands down that it's the best restaurant in the area, delicious barley with sheep's blue cheese, exceptional veal tartare, excellent quality-price wine, a 2020 Montepulciano (HIM), lamb with potatoes also good, very minimal, essential, just right place. The lady of the house is very patient and creates a family atmosphere.

we went with the family precisely this Saturday for lunch, what stands out is the sophisticated elegant environment but no less so are the dishes and the service. Excellent quality on all fronts congratulations

A very welcoming and well-kept place, with a noteworthy table setting available for purchase. A fairly varied menu with traditional local dishes, revisited, and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. I gave the food 4 stars and not 5 only because the first course, although expertly executed, didn't particularly impress me. Special mention goes to the truly excellent breads and extensive wine list. I'll be back.
