Genoese cuisine at its best! I have no words to express the extreme kindness with which our requests were accommodated even though the place was full for New Year's Eve dinner and we hadn't booked! Excellent dishes and courtesy. Chestnut gnocchi with pesto lifts your spirits with every forkful! I will definitely return! Very very good!

The restaurant is on street level behind the ancient market in the Carmine area. The environment is welcoming and informal. The food is decent, the price is average for trattorias, the staff are friendly and helpful, no problem with accessories for disabled people, the only problem is parking. In front of the restaurant you cannot access even by taxi, parking in the surrounding areas is impossible to find, during the day you can get there on foot from Piazza della Annunziata but at night it is not advisable to walk around the area on foot, like the whole historic center of Genoa unfortunately.

Hidden jewel within the historic alleys of Genoa. Small place, a mix of elegant and rustic. Tasted the basil pesto - the authentic Genoese one - the best I've ever tried in my life. I couldn't help but ask for an extra bowl of pesto, accompanied with focaccia and croutons. Impossible to resist. The rest is also excellent. Typically we tried the panigacci, always with pesto, and the seared calamari on a bed of potatoes. Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Bonus also for the very kind owner who explained to us in detail how to prepare the pesto in the mortar, as the Genoese tradition dictates.

We often go there to eat: you can taste excellent Ligurian cuisine. I recommend dishes with mushrooms which I am fond of. Friendly staff and fair prices.

We came across this restaurant by chance (looking for another). The outdoor seating area looked appealing in the evening. The food was so excellent - particularly the half lobster with pasta and the tower of seafood, avocado and potato. Also the tiramisu was voted best in Italy by my family.

30/12/2024: Arrived here during a nice walk from Zoagli. The restaurant enjoys a beautiful view of the Portofino promontory and the Gulf of Rapallo. The staff were friendly and quick to serve. We had a very tasty artichoke flan, grilled croaker, fresh but a little burnt, sliced ​​beef and a very appetizing mixed salad. Two glasses of worm tini and coffee, a total of 90 euros, in line with prices in the area.
13/11/2024: I had lunch with the family on Sunday during the Saints' weekend. I had already been to this wonderful restaurant a year ago. Excellent food, friendly waiters, wonderful view overlooking the sea. I recommend it and will return as soon as possible.
