If you’re in Siena this is an absolute must visit. I know I give a lot of five star reviews but that’s because I only review places that I loved and I absolutely loved this restaurant. What did I love ? The service was exceptional, friendly and professional. Lots of restaurants could learn from the service in this restaurant. The food was simple and simply delicious. Really tasty, moderate portions, fresh seasonal ingredients. I had the open seafood ravioli which was exceptional, one of the best ever, and I live in Puglia, on the water, where exceptional seafood is pretty common. The piece de resistance however is the wine list. I’m a wine lover and have been lucky enough to enjoy some amazing lists over the years but this is next level wine list. More than ten closely typed pages on Brunello alone ! And then another 30 or 40 on every other wine you could think of. Epic and legendary does not do this wine list justice but also great value as well. No rip off markups. Fair price for a wine (by US or U.K. standards it’s a give away.)

Characteristic place not far from Piazza del Campo, fixed menu of your choice (a first course, a second course, small dessert, water and a glass of wine), good preparation of the dishes, courteous and timely service.

High quality Sienese cuisine in an attentive and never banal context: from braised meat to well-chosen wine. The restaurant has a cellar of absolute value. An experience to enjoy. I deserve it!!!

We found a place even though we hadn't booked. Very kind staff, very nice and well-kept place, really good food. Excellent quality/price ratio. We will definitely return if we return to Siena.

What can I say... I've been going to Siena for work for a while and I had this place saved, in October I wasn't able to find a place (I hadn't booked) but this time they managed to give me a table, despite my unfortunately not having a reservation. The place is very nice, with wooden and tuff vaults (correct me if I'm wrong), you are greeted by extremely friendly staff. I noticed excellent customer attention, the owner really has an eye for everyone. I took the black octopus with foam... what can I say... it melted in your mouth!! Optimal! The owner also offered me a taste of a red wine (I'm not a big drinker) which turned out to be really excellent. I ended with a wonderful tiramisu, my favorite dessert, which I literally adored, I didn't want it to end 😂. So everything is excellent. Well done everyone indeed. It's definitely goodbye 😊

Festeggiamento in famiglia per il mio compleanno: grande accoglienza, stile, sobrietà. Cucina al di sopra delle nostre aspettative, i secondi e un antipasto eccellenti, spesa perfettamente equilibrata con il servizio e la maestria delle preparazioni. Ci tornerò. Ci torneremo. Aggiungo un tocco eminentemente personale: lasciate più spazio a un sottofondo musicale che sia in linea con il mood del raffinato locale!

I hadn't booked and luckily I found a place since I was alone. The place is really nice, the staff is friendly and punctual and the food is excellent. Must try

We were here for dinner, I had the "black octopus" with grits and lemon puree. The food was excellent, so was the coffee. The restaurant is slightly more expensive, but it's worth it.

Belle ed interessanti recensioni ci hanno convinto di pranzare in questo locale. Il locale e’ bello ed elegante ma abbiamo trovato il personale di servizio poco attento e preparato e alcuni di loro poco cordiali. Saranno state le recensioni ma siamo rimasti un po delusi rispetto alle attese. Peccato
