It was during a visit to the city of Siena that we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while strolling early one morning through the narrow streets outside the center.
We ate on the terrace (in my opinion, it's much better than inside because it's very dark) and enjoyed a good meal accompanied by a good bottle of wine.
However, while the quality is evident on the plate, the quantities are not sufficient for the price paid.
The spaghetti alle vongole dish was good, but the quantity was absolutely paltry; two forks and the plate was gone.
The service was a little confusing because there were new waiters who weren't yet familiar with the menu.
I wouldn't give it more than a 3.

It seems to be a good restaurant as many Italian locals were there on Sunday afternoon for their family lunch. We had some pumpkin paste starter and that was really good. The pasta I ordered was with truffle and cream and it was good as well. However my partner's papardelle was not so good.
They have food wines.
They close at 3 PM but still they took us in for lunch at 2:15. This I like.
The prices are a bit high.

The food was very good, we came on a sunday, 45mins before closing time and they were still kind enough to receive us without a reservation.
We saw many local whole families having their lunch all together and felt like an authentic experience. They also have a long list of wines to enjoy.
The service was a bit so so in my opinion, as we have had friendlier in Tuscany region, but they were always professional and polite.
The Pumpkin/Gorgonzola Tortino was amazing. Great fusion of flavors.
There is a 10% fee for Service.
Would come back.

We found this place by chance and immediately fell in love with it. There are both indoor and outdoor tables. The menu isn't extensive, and the prices are average. You can also choose a €25 set menu, which includes a first course, second course, dessert, water, and a glass of wine.

The best restaurant we went to in Siena. We didn’t have a reservation, but we were warmly welcomed. The wine list is a show on its own. The service was excellent, especially from Ricardo and the owner, who were always attentive. I recommend the mushroom ravioli. Elegant atmosphere and fair prices.

I visited this restaurant in mid-October.
We enjoyed eating outdoors. Even though there were 17 of us, the restaurant owner immediately found us comfortable seating.
A light lunch (light is the only word 🤣) included a first course, second course, wine and water, and dessert. We paid €60 for a family of 4-3.
Everything was delicious: pici cacio e pepe, superb Chianina beef tartare.
The kids had homemade pasta with a simple sauce. The sauce tasted like the one grandma used to make at home!!

Wir waren einmal hier und haben beide das 5-Gänge-Überraschungsmenü mit Weinbegleitung gewählt – und es war eine großartige Entscheidung. Jeder Gang war kreativ, geschmacklich sehr ausgewogen und liebevoll präsentiert. Auch die dazu gereichten Weine waren hervorragend abgestimmt und haben das Menü wunderbar ergänzt.
Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und angenehm ruhig, der Service professionell und freundlich – genau die richtige Mischung aus aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich.
Fazit: Ein kulinarisches Highlight in Siena. Für alle, die toskanische Küche mit modernem Twist und guter Weinbegleitung schätzen, absolut empfehlenswert.
