La Cometa In Lucera

So tonight we decided to eat at the Comet, a very quiet place and the food really made us dream. I had the American piz burger. I recommend it and it's delicious 😋. Just one thing that I think should improve... The cover cost was €2 per person, they should reduce it, after all everything was very good

We had the pleasure of discovering this pizzeria in Lucera, easily accessible and particularly welcoming. If the whole dinner was pleasant, the pizza deserves special mention: well leavened, light and tasty in Neapolitan style. My pizza was a mortazza made on a white base, mortadella, chopped pistachios and an excellent burrata! We will definitely be back! The photo in the gallery is my property!

We were welcomed with a big smile by the owners who immediately made us feel at home, very kind and approachable, available in everything. Being a group of 12 people, they managed to satisfy everyone's requests/changes to the menu. Excellent and plentiful dishes, we also wanted to try the pizzas because reading the reviews everyone spoke well of them and even though the oven was off they were immediately available to turn it on to satisfy us and in fact the pizzas were excellent, truly beyond expectations. We made friends, lovely people and a spectacular lunch. I definitely recommend going there and we will definitely go back too despite the distance from our town. Sono venuto a cenare qui per caso e senza alcuna aspettativa, ed anzi con qualche dubbio, non presentandosi il locale - esteticamente- in modo accattivante. E invece… Una cena perfetta, di sostanza, tutto molto buono. Orecchiette con zucca e salsiccia squisite. Avrei potuto credere di essere tornato indietro nel tempo, sentendo gli stessi sapori di quando, bambino, cucinava la nonna i piatti destinati a essere ricordati per tutta la vita. Ottima bruschetta. Molto goloso il crocchettone della casa. Impasto della pizza, provato nella versione del dolce della pizza con Nutella, squisito. In una settimana di vacanza nella Puglia garganica, avendo mangiato mediamente in modo discreto, solo in due posti tornerei tutta la vita: in un noto ristorante della guida Michelin a Manfredonia e qui alla Cometa di Lucera. Davvero bravi, complimenti. A differenza di tanti altri, voi fate onore alla tradizione culinaria della vostra terra! Complimenti.
