We went for lunch on Sunday. Nicola (an old friend) was always so kind and welcoming. The appetizer, gnocco fritto with cured meats, was top notch! The trio of first courses, ravioli with venison ragu, pisarei, and malfatti with ricotta, butter, and sage, were all excellent, well-cooked, well-seasoned, and above all, top-quality. No main courses because they were so overdone! What can I say? It's worth trying, we'll be back.... To try the main courses and desserts...I forgot, the Gutturnio wine and the local Amaro are excellent!!!

--- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A jewel of Piacenza cuisine! We were thrilled with every aspect of this restaurant! The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously cared for, with a warm and authentic feel that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always smiling: a true added value. But the real star is the food: traditional Piacenza dishes executed impeccably. The tortelli with roe deer sauce were simply spectacular, with a thin pastry and a flavorful filling. The maltagliati, then, made us understand why Piacenza cuisine deserves a place of honor among the great Italian regional cuisines. The meats were cooked to perfection; we ate the truly spectacular horse carpaccio with arugula and parmesan, along with top-quality local cured meats and a well-stocked wine list featuring excellent local labels. All at a price that's absolutely right for the quality offered. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity, flavor, and a memorable dining experience. We'll be back.

Trattoria Trinita

15/10/2025: It's Sunday and we've made a reservation at this trattoria in the Piacenza hills; the decision is made and we're off. The surrounding atmosphere is sweet and serene, the interior is modern and welcoming. Filippo is a meticulous and knowledgeable host, and above all, he pampers his guests with kindness and discretion. The restaurant is fully booked, synonymous with authentic and excellent dining. We order three platters with incredible products: coppa and pancetta Piacentina, a super premium prosciutto crudo, shoulder ham, and delicious salami. To accompany them, we have giardiniera, Russian salad, and Borrettane onions all'agro, all strictly homemade. A pumpkin and truffle flan with an enchanting aroma and flavor. Then four first courses: two tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and two crespelle also with porcini mushrooms, all strictly homemade. Then tiramisu, a nougat parfait, and a mint and chocolate parfait. A Bonarda from the local winery La Margherita was like a medicine. Super-fair prices and knowledgeable staff. Heartfelt congratulations. Dearest Filippo, continue with this commitment and determination. The greatest recognition comes from the gourmets who honor your table.
