We went to Benito, the owner of the Coccinella restaurant 🐞, or ate fresh and excellent fish, the cheerfulness and kindness of the waiters, including his very nice son since we arrived and we went out laughing happily, don't miss the food and feel good about this go there and it's really great...

Massive restaurant but still with good fish-based dishes and fast service. The pizzas don't shine. Lots of fish and pasta sautéed in the room by the friendly owner. Live music with a good singer DJ. Honest prices.

Continua la mia vacanza a Palermo,qui trovate Benito un personaggio davvero stravagante,vi serve dei piatti molto buoni,le sue urla si sentono a chilometri:):):)i ragazzi sono tutti gentili e sanno mettervi a propio agio.andateci perché oltre a mangiare bene passerete una serata differente. Le Cozze col pomodoro 🍅 sono Eccellenti,abbiamo preso anche Spaghetti Cozze e Vongole.veramente buoni.

Ottimo in tutto. Per me fra i piatti migliori di Benito ci sono le cozze al sugo davvero prelibate. Quando va da Benito è come se sei in famiglia. Ambiente caloroso e accogliente. E poi c è il figlio Roberto un gran Signore, attento in ogni tua richiesta. Ogni volta che verrò a Palermo sarà un piacere venire da Benito. Bravo Roberto.

21/02/2025: we visited this place and spent an evening in company with friends, a very nice place, good and sophisticated cocktails, wonderful and engaging live music, lots of nice people inside... but let's talk about the sore point, the food (I'm speaking for those who decide to have an aperitif) terrible, everything without salt, which could also be fine, but made in a crude manner just to "tighten the stomach", no refinement (for example the arancinette were stringy balls of compressed rice without flavor or seasoning) in short, it's really a shame because taking care of the details and the food is not a detail is putting the icing on the cake which unfortunately didn't happen in this case.

14/03/2025: I had lunch with a raw fish starter, consisting of four small prawns, 2 scampi, 2 oysters and four marinated half anchovies. Clearly the fish was down. A quarter of wine, a bottle of water. I paid €25 Good service and courtesy. Many wonder about the reason for the success of Japanese restaurants, given that they too have reduced products but with decidedly more satisfying quantities. I believe that Sicilian cuisine must stand out for its local products, even if it were 🐟 blue or fresh octopus or given the period pasta with sardines and fennel, and all the local things that can make the difference.
12/03/2025: Cozy and very clean environment and it is one of the few restaurants where the smell of cooking does not remain. The food was genuine, simple but with the true taste of fish. I will return and recommend it to everyone.
