One of the best restaurants where we ate in upper Bordighera: warm welcome, we asked for an appetizer to share (there were 2 of us) and without asking we received 2 separate dishes to enjoy it to the fullest (not a given!) Advice on the wine to match is super spot on; Excellent first courses, perfect dessert conclusion. Place to return to every time you stop in Bordighera!

Parto dal titolo: la Cicala è un ristorantino gourmet che mi ha convinto particolarmente. Bella la location estiva sulla terrazza all'interno della borgata di Bordighera alta, un'autentica chicca ben sfruttata a differenza della mia Sanremo con la "Pigna". Il ristorante propone un menù vario e ben armonizzato fra le portate con una scelta corretta. Sia il palato "carne" che quello "pesce" trova soddisfazione. I piatti scelti (2 antipasti cadauno, primo e dolce) sono stati tutti ben eseguiti, qualità alta e finalmente delle porzioni che ti permettono di alzarti da tavola satollo. Cura nell'impiattamento che fa sempre un certo piacere visivo, ben coniugata con i sapori. Carta dei vini ben assortita e di qualità. Servizio anche questo ha incontrato in pieno il mio favore: tempi corretti, gentile, affabile disponibile e mai invadente. Aspetto solo che passi Agosto con i furesti di passaggio e poi è già in lista per un altra tornata gastronomica con nuovi amici. Complimenti sinceri.

Though we had been to Bordighera before, it was our first time dining at this restaurant, and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing, and the people running the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed an excellent pasta with pesto while taking in a view of the sea. Our experience was so delightful that we returned the following night. This time, I ordered the octopus pasta, which was incredibly delicious. The dessert was also awesome. We would highly recommend dining here.
