The owner is exactly the Emilian host you'd expect. Sweet, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He seated us at 2:30 PM on a Saturday, when closing time was 3 PM, and greeted everyone as if nothing was wrong. The tigelle were very good, with interesting, top-quality ingredients. The Lambrusco was good, and the bill was reasonable for the Modena area, practically across from the Albinelli Market: for four adults and two children, €90. The only downside, though, is that I think the location was worth paying for.

In giro per Modena, verso ora di cena e alla ricerca di qualcosa di veramente locale, decidiamo di affacciarci a La Chersenta. Davvero un'ottima scelta! Il posto frequentato da turisti e gente del luogo è molto semplice come struttura ma assolutamente funzionale e l'offerta gastronomica ha la sua Regina: la Chersenta in tutte le sue declinazioni. E' possibile optare per una farina bianca ovvero integrale e poi scegliere tra tante farciture dalle più tradizionali fino d abbinamenti solo all'apparenza lontani tra loro. Molto disponibile con i suoi consigli il proprietario, con l'ulteriore possibilità di acquistare anche le farciture in vasetto.

Tigelleria nel centro di Modena. Offre una vastissima scelta di condimenti per le tigelle, che possono essere ordinate nella loro forma più grande o quella tradizionale più piccolina. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Le tigelle sono davvero molto buone! Forse il prezzo è leggermente alto ma siamo pur sempre in centro città quindi è comprensibile. Posto in ogni caso consigliato per assaporare delle ottime tigelle!!
