La Caxa Mal Coti In Montalto pavese

We were here for lunch on Boxing Day 2024. Arrived after walking along a small road in the hills, the place is beautiful, immersed in the Oltrepò hills. Once we enter, they immediately come to serve us the appetizers, a tasty and delicious variety of starters (such as cured meats, giardiniera, cheeses, frittini, cotechino with lentils). All obviously accompanied by Oltrepo Pavese wine directly from their farm. The gems were definitely the first courses (the space agnolotti) and the limoncello cream made by them. the cost is in line with how much we ate and considering that we went on a holiday I would say that €45 is a more than honest price. I hope it stays that way over time and I will definitely return in another season! Really recommended.

Among the best ever. At a fair price they offer you top quality food and drinks, in excellent portions and always produced by them. Excellent and friendly service. The venue is beautiful. It's difficult to ask for more! A tip: book well in advance. The place is not huge and does not open every day. But this is another of its strengths

Structure not excessively large, simple, very beautiful, spectacular view. Very good products cooked in an excellent manner. Of note, in the dining room, the girl (alone) was able to manage the serving of the various courses very well, also paying attention to never missing the drinks. Congratulations to all the staff.
