La Caverna Wine Bar In Castelmola

Thank God it was so crowded in Taormina with heavy traffic so we ended up in this great place. It is the best restaurant I've visited during my 10-day visit in Sicily. You can have a very good taste of traditional cuisine and taste one of many wines they offer. The atmosphere in the yard is just magical

A very special restaurant, we were there on November 1st, we sat in the cave, it was still decorated for Halloween, we ate very well, excellent quality food.

Great atmosphere & the host was helpful, especially enjoyed the burrata.

We visited La Caverna restaurant and had a truly positive experience. We tried the special pizza with its many different toppings, and we can say without hesitation that it was excellent: the dough was light and well-cooked, the ingredients fresh and flavorful. Special praise goes to pizza chef Nicola, who masterfully and professionally brought out the best in the flavors, demonstrating great attention to detail and passion for his work. The restaurant also has a very unique atmosphere: it stands out for its characteristic "cave" style, yet at the same time manages to be welcoming, pleasant, and warm. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel at ease, combining originality and elegance without ever being overbearing. Ultimately, a restaurant absolutely worth a visit: excellent food, attentive service, and a unique atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent cuisine, shame about the slightly high price, you can't pay €8 for two bottles of still water in plastic and €28 for a tiny cut of meat, not fair prices, really a shame.
