While searching for a pizzeria, we ended up at Cava based on the photos.
Upon arrival, we discovered that pizza is only served in the evenings – well, we'll see what happens – at least the menu looks promising.
What followed was rather disappointing. The beetroot salad was – well, beetroot. No vinegar reduction, no horseradish, just a bit of pink foam. A similar story with the roast beef – good meat, but no pepper, tartar, or pepper mill in sight.
The main courses were good.
The only remaining issue is the pricing, which is on par with Swiss prices! However, since the restaurant was quite busy, it seems to be acceptable 😅.

The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked dishes with fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor with a modern touch. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, ideal for all kinds of circumstances.
A special mention goes to Simone, our waiter, who was outstanding! Friendly, attentive, and very professional — he recommended our food and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
One of the best dinners we’ve had in Italy. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Como! 👏🍷🇮🇹

What an excellent place! One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. The dough is sensational… we had the Giovanna pizza, with bacon and stracciatella 🤤 and a very tasty carbonara pasta. To finish, a super light and creamy tiramisu, which is also among the best I've ever had.
Besides the very tasty and high-quality food, the service was also great. Helpful, smiling, and polite waiters! They didn't mind cutting the pizza in half for us to share, nor separating the carbonara into two plates.
I highly recommend it to anyone near Como!

Truly exceptional pizza, and the place is meticulously maintained!
I've been to Cava dei Sapori and I must say I was impressed in every way. The pizza was excellent—light dough, quality ingredients, and truly successful combinations. You can taste the attention and passion behind what they do.
The place is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for both a quiet evening and a special occasion. Friendly staff and quick service, despite it being busy.
In short: one of the best places to eat pizza in Como. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely place, excellent service and a separate menu with great awareness of gluten-free food.
Specifically, the risotto was less successful in my opinion, but the pizzas and gnocchi were excellent.
Also an excellent wine selection.

The restaurant has been open for 20 years, conveniently located. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. The wine list is excellent, curated by manager and sommelier Emanuele. The food is meticulously prepared, both in terms of quality and presentation, with a wide selection of seafood dishes. The pizza is also good, and is only available at dinner. A great place for a casual dinner, whether with family or friends, with attentive service and top-notch food. The interior is perhaps a little dated, and parking can sometimes be a challenge, but there are plenty of options nearby.

We were there with a group of 50 (with reservations, of course), and it was simply wonderful! From the ambiance to the service to the delicious food. We were short on time, so we put together a package with the owner in advance and made a small selection, so we could get a fixed price including drinks for everyone. Everything worked out wonderfully, including the speed with which we received our food. The restaurant is highly recommended! Even large groups leave the restaurant happy and satisfied :-)

We stopped at the restaurant by chance during our vacation for lunch. Good experience, tasty and carefully prepared food, friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.
