The tagliatelle and polenta with mushrooms were excellent, as was the porcini mushrooms! The homemade desserts were truly delicious!

A historic restaurant in Abetone, which, unfortunately, despite its good food, certainly doesn't shine in terms of hospitality, service, and service. Certainly not because of the staff, and certainly because of the large number of guests they have to serve. However, this should never be to the detriment of the customer. What a shame.

I stop to get a slice of tart, I choose the last slice and the guy at the counter points out that it's a large portion (€3.50 a slice) to which I don't understand and tell him to make me the portion he thinks appropriate, now I swear, he must have removed 1 centimeter of slice 😅🤣 is that possible??? Ahha what a gem...
3 stars because it was good, apart from the rest you are all nice like in Genoa

This restaurant serves traditional but non-seasonal dishes, including polenta, venison, sausages, and wild boar, which are also available in August. The food is honest, as are the prices, and the atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable. The desserts (a wide selection, especially tarts) were what we appreciated most.

During our week-long stay, this was the best place we ate. The dishes were made to perfection, the baked polenta was excellent, the fresh pastries were fresh, and the desserts were top of the list: the ricotta and blueberry tart was absolutely worth it. Highly recommended, they don't take reservations and the wait list can be long, but it's worth it. The service from the staff was excellent.

A quaint place, with quick and friendly service. The crostoni and desserts were good, but the pappardelle were a bit less so, as they were overcooked.

An excellent location for enjoying sublime food, worthy of the finest local cuisine. The blueberry tart with cream is excellent, as is the polenta crouton with cheese. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.
