I had the pleasure of trying La Casera and can say without hesitation that it's one of the best places in Verbania for those who love traditional products, artisanal cheeses, and high-quality cured meats. The platters are generous and carefully crafted, with an excellent selection of local cheeses and Piedmontese specialties. The wine list is also excellent, well-researched and consistent with the restaurant's identity. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate: you can immediately sense their knowledge of the products they offer. The atmosphere is welcoming, authentic, with a convivial atmosphere that makes you want to return. The quality-price ratio is fair considering the quality of the ingredients. I recommend booking on weekends because it's very popular, a clear sign that it's a go-to place in Verbania for aperitifs, lunches, and dinners. If you're looking for a traditional restaurant in Verbania with excellent local products and a true experience, La Casera is a safe bet.

The places has beautiful decoration, with music that completely suits the mood and the food is absolutely spectacular! Fresh, delicious, tasty and lots of options. The quality of the food is excellent. They also have loads of options of wine. People working here are also very nice and friendly. Alessandro really made a huge difference, super nice and was excellent! Honestly, if you’re in the area this is the place you should go to!

Excellent quality ingredients, friendly and helpful staff. We had dinner for three, trying four different dishes, from the ErosBurger, to the 500g, a grilled caciocavallo, and a crescia filled with Piedmontese tartare. We finished with an excellent tiramisu. Another visit, this time enjoying a Pugliese-style cristine and a raclette, both of which we finished with our favorite tiramisu. Everything was excellent. Reservations are recommended.

We visited La Casera in the Lake Maggiore region, and the experience was excellent. I highly recommend the cheese tasting and the prosciutto (pork) tasting—both cost €20 and are worth every euro. The cheese tasting includes about 20 different types, perfect for discovering the variety and quality of local producers. The pork tasting features 10 distinct types, very well selected and extremely flavorful. A major highlight is Alessandro's service—friendly, attentive, and with impeccable English. He explains everything calmly and even helps you choose excellent wines. Speaking of which, the wine list is impressive, with over 1,000 labels available. If you're passing through Lake Maggiore, La Casera is a must-go place for anyone who appreciates good food, local products, and an authentic experience.

A cheese lover's paradise, hehe. I don't know what else to call this place 😋 Very nice decor, delicious snacks, and even better cheeses. It's a shop connected to a small restaurant. The service was poor; the lady who was supposed to serve us was sitting on her phone, watching Instagram stories. I had to approach her myself to finally get her to stop looking at the screen. However, the staff at the shop were very nice and helpful in choosing the cheeses.

This place offered us a unique experience! It's the perfect spot for cheese and charcuterie lovers. A hybrid concept with a shop and restaurant, offering high-quality products!
