A farmhouse nestled in the Oltrepó Pavese countryside, near Stradella. The atmosphere is quaint and clean, and the staff are very attentive and welcoming. We had a fixed-price lunch during the Christmas period. The menu consisted of: an appetizer with a selection of homemade cured meats; two first courses: risotto with pears and Taleggio cheese (remarkable, the rice was cooked perfectly) and trofiette with sausage and mushroom ragù. The second courses: roast veal fillet with potatoes and stewed chicken with polenta. The cured meats were excellent (the cotechino was amazing), and the meat was tender and succulent. We finished with desserts (various options): chocolate salami with orange sauce, pear strudel with vanilla cream, chocolate parfait, pavesini biscuits, and hazelnuts. Wine and water were included. They also accommodated our vegetarian requests very well, offering a very respectable alternative menu. The price was absolutely reasonable: €40 per person.
A truly good place to taste local specialties that I highly recommend and where I will return.

Great place, well-served, quality dishes. We really enjoyed the braised beef ravioli and the appetizers. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

On Sundays, there's a six-course set menu, all very good traditional dishes. The risotto in particular was truly well-made, flavorful yet delicate. The ravioli with stew were excellent. The roast pork neck with potatoes was top-notch, and the guinea fowl was also excellent. The semifreddo was truly delicious; they chose traditional fare over the "usual" classic tiramisu, and I really enjoyed it. Recommended!
