Excellent local food and an authentic atmosphere with a view of the vineyard. Spacious and tidy, the service is perfect.

We arrived and the problem was the parking lot, which was small. We were a group. They made us a great appetizer with cured meats from Oltrepo Pavese and warm tarts. All the pasta is homemade.

An excellent agriturismo nestled in the hills of the Pavia province, with extremely friendly staff, excellent cuisine, and very fair prices. Definitely a place we'll gladly return to. Highly recommended.

A few kilometers from Stradella, nestled among vineyards, lies La Casa dei Nonni, a typical Oltrepò Pavese farmhouse. We went here on Sunday for lunch: - which included mixed appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, dessert, water, wine, and coffee (excluding only liqueurs and premium wines). The price was truly fair, not only for the quantity; the portions were more than generous, and the quality of the dishes was truly excellent! Try it! 👍

21/06/2026: 5 well-deserved stars! A wonderful experience, thanks in part to our instructor Alessandro, who was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging! We tried the clay pigeon shooting experience and can't wait to go back! Highly recommended if you're looking for a different afternoon with friends or family!

12/07/2026: July 11, 2026, I arrive in Casteggio for the beer festival, but the party starts in the evening and then on Sunday. I search Maps for reviews of a restaurant with home-cooked food, fair price/quality... And the result is Leon D'oro, 5-star reviews. Spot on. Real reviews. We ate and drank just the right amount. The entire menu tasted just right. I had the daily menu, all fresh, 5 stars. Marco, the owner, was great and friendly, even with me, even though it was my first time there. To be top-notch, I recommend freshening up the atmosphere. Thank you so much, Marco.
