Passing through Carrara, we were looking for a simple place for a quick lunch and we ended up here.
It's a traditional place, friendly and fast service, you can read the menu on a blackboard or listen to what's new.
Frequented by workers and employees, without class distinction, who certify the quality of the food with their daily presence, even if some dishes are not exactly dietary! Read and eat... good bulk wine.
I would definitely stay here again!

Rustic tavern atmosphere, small but what counts is the food, the service and the excellent welcome. I gave 4 stars Ambience because the bathroom is outside, so small that my 193cm husband couldn't close the door. However we have adapted, the important thing is to eat well! Thank you

È una storica osteria carrarina ubicata accanto al circolo anarchico di cui si respira un po’ l’atmosfera. Dispone di una grande stanza in cui sono posizionati i tavoli. La cucina è schietta, genuina legata alla tradizione locale. Buoni i tordelli della Capinera conditi con un generoso ragù di carne. Vino della casa passabile. C’è anche una buona scelta di vini. Servizio veloce e cordiale. Per chi vuole scoprire la tradizione carrarina.

It is a historic Carrara tavern located next to the anarchist club whose atmosphere you can feel a bit. It has a large room where the tables are placed. The cuisine is straightforward, genuine linked to local tradition. The Capinera tordelli are good, seasoned with a generous meat sauce. Passable house wine. There is also a good choice of wines. Fast and friendly service. For those who want to discover the Carrara tradition.
