On a cold and windy evening after the winter season we almost by luck found this restaurant located in Abetone.
Helpful and kind staff, the dishes we ordered were well prepared with excellent ingredients.
I strongly suggest the chef's homemade desserts.
The dinner was very quiet (perhaps also due to the low season) but it was still a pleasant environment.

Restaurant with a good menu especially of game. I recommend the venison and ricotta buttons with porcini mushrooms. The quality is more than decent, the informal environment is suitable for children, the prices are high.

I passed by Abetone during a business trip.
I arrive at the restaurant at lunchtime.
I am greeted by the man who introduces himself as the manager (from what I understand he is the new manager of the place).
He explains to me that the restaurant reopened a few days ago and that they are completing preparations for the upcoming winter season.
The staff is still minimal, basically there is the manager and the cook.
At the moment I'm the only diner.
The room is very pretty with a huge and characteristic fireplace in the center which will be lit on the coldest and snowiest nights to also create ambience.
I sit at a table overlooking a large window with a view of the mountains.
I am offered a rich platter of mixed cold cuts and cheeses and then as a first course a plate of "bottoni" (a stuffed pasta like ravioli) filled with deer meat and white mushroom sauce.
All very good, especially the buttons which I think are truly spot on in terms of flavours.
Complete with water and correct coffee: 44 euros.
Congratulations, I hope to have the opportunity to return, perhaps with snow to have even more atmosphere.

L'accoglienza molto familiare e cortese è la prima cosa che emerge , parliamo del cibo??? Un risotto con taleggio e more selvatiche da urlo , così come la polenta col cinghiale , squisite anche le patate al forno .....e per concludere un dolce fatto in casa (torta all'arancia) sublime . Grazie torneremo
