Everything is delicious and authentic, the kind of home cooking that will make you cry. The battered zucchini are simply amazing. The various ragùs are fantastic. Highly recommended! :)

Excellent place, simple but very welcoming. Five of us had lunch, choosing typical Maremma dishes like homemade gnocchi and tortelli. While waiting, we enjoyed some battered zucchini. Everything was really good, although, as a true Maremma native, I have to say the ragù was a bit light on meat, but well-made. Good bulk wine. Very fair price. Worth a visit if you're passing through the area. Ample parking, even for truckers.

Excellent trattoria with authentic and tasty dishes, just like the ones from times gone by. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and the staff is very kind and friendly.
The food is excellent, everything is homemade and made with quality ingredients. We'll definitely be back!

The outdoor veranda offers pleasant shade even on the hottest days, and the staff is truly super friendly.

If your goal is to eat well, if you're looking for friendly and professional service, and if you don't want any disappointing surprises, then La Capanna, on the Aurelia near Capalbio, with a lovely outdoor parking lot, is the solution. Excellent pasta dishes, daily specials, and especially gnocchi. 100% Maremma cuisine. Thank you.

Oh my, how beautiful and authentic this place is, a must-stop if you're traveling along the Aurelia. The food seems like it was cooked by a Tuscan grandmother (and maybe it really is). The pappardelle with wild boar, ragù, and stew are excellent. The atmosphere is very simple, but it helps make the place even more welcoming! There were a lot of truck drivers, which is a sign of quality 🚚 and now I can confirm it too 😇

Great parking. Perfect dinner. Pappardelle with wild boar... mmmm. Great service, very friendly staff.
Too bad we have to leave the next morning. Highly recommend.

Il posto è immerso nel verde, la sala, rustica e abbastanza spartana, ha un grosso camino dove viene cotta la carne.
Buoni i primi: si sceglie il tipo di pasta, cotta molto al dente, e la si abbina con un sugo, ottimi i ragù (abbiamo preso anatra e cinta). Comoda la possibilità della mezza porzione.
Anche i secondi buoni, abbiamo ordinato il pollo, gustoso anche se un po’ asciutto il petto. Molto buoni anche la fiorentina e il peposo (saporito e morbido, con poco pepe). Non un gran chè i carciofi, troppo acidulati.
