In the area for a sporting event, we opted for this large, very popular pizzeria and restaurant, which is part of a hotel, but in my opinion, it's very chaotic.
Because it was busy, the dining room was very noisy, and the wait for our food was quite long, both at dinner and the following day at lunch. On both occasions, we opted for the restaurant, and the cuisine offered a different take:
The dinner entrees were excellently sauced, creamy, and full of flavor, while the lunch entrees were sparsely sauced, practically dry. This leads us to believe the chef was different.
The dinner was good, but lunch the next day, having high expectations from the previous day, left us with a bitter taste.

Historic restaurant serving local specialties and more. Wide selection of dishes, including fish and meat. Very generous portions; I had a selection of cured meats and cheeses as an appetizer... so many cheeses, I couldn't finish them all! The cured meats and cheeses were delicious. The cheek was good, but it deserved a longer cooking time. The wine cellar is definitely worth a visit; it's a shame it's a bit hidden. Friendly staff and good advice, especially for the wine selection. Prices are average. A very good restaurant, definitely worth a try.
