Very nice place for dinner, unfortunately not only were we hungry but so were the mosquitoes! The owner quickly prepared the only table in the restaurant for us and we were somewhat protected from the mosquitoes. The menu turned out to be very small, but the dishes were very good. The restaurant is highly recommended.

Wir hatten in unserem Urlaub diverse Restaurants ausprobiert, und dieses Restaurant war mit Abstand das beste in unseren Augen.
Und zwar vom Ambiente, über den freundlichen Kellner bis hin zum superleckeren Essen.
Ich habe beispielsweise zum ersten Mal Lasage mit Ricotta und Spinaci gegessen, und war super begeistert. Ebenso von der Bruschetta mit Käse und Tomate. Beides ein Gedicht.

We've been coming here at least 5 times a year for 10 years, according to one of our regulars.
In Castiglione most of the restaurants are very good and then there are those that are even better, la Cantinetta is one of those even better ones. Clear menu, delicious dishes, prices and portion sizes correspond to the quality, service quick and easy, good wines, also a couple of natural wines (orange)
go there, taste it and enjoy it.
Of course, my review is subjective as everyone has their own priorities.
