Manuela's cellar is a true jewel for lovers of wine and good food. Located in a welcoming and rustic setting, this winery offers an intimate and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a special evening. The menu is rich and varied, with dishes that enhance Italian tradition. Each course is prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, reflecting an evident care and passion for cooking. The cured meats and cheeses are excellent, and the homemade pastas are a real riot of flavours. The real protagonist, however, is the wine. The selection is vast and well curated, with labels ranging from small local productions to big international names. The staff is competent and available to guide you in choosing the perfect wine to accompany each dish, making the experience even more pleasant. I ate at La Cantina di Manuela near Milano Risorgimento Square and had a delightful experience. The risotto alla milanese was quite nice, though I found it a bit heavy and buttery, and it could have used some saffron on top. I expected a better quality for the price. The ravioli with ricotta and prawn were delicate and flavorful, but the portion was rather small. The highlight of the meal was the tiramisu, which was one of the best I've ever had. The service was lovely and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable evening.
