A little hidden in an alley is this little gem of a wine bar. We were very well received and learned a lot about both wine, Italy and the Italian language. The wine we bought with us on recommendation was outstanding. Highly recommend a visit!

It's a wine bar located in a quiet alley. Even though it was past the closing time on Google Maps, they welcomed us with a smile and recommended great wine. They also communicated well with a translator~~ I felt a lot of local vibes!!!!!!

Por una calle lateral justo fuera del casco antiguo encontramos esta joya escondida. Increíbles vinos y gran tabla de quesos y carne con fabulosos productos locales. Muy recomendable la visita.

Dorotea La Spaghetteria

06/08/2025: Literally one of the best restaurants in Puglia and I’ve been coming here for many years. It’s the classic example of a true hidden gem. The owner/chef is a charming entrepreneur whose restaurant is clearly a passion project which he has worked from the ground up. Inventive dishes with powerful local ingredients - spaghetti all’assassina is amazing as well as the antipasti chosen by the chef. Great wine list - loved the sussumaniello red. Generous with extras and digestivi. Even the grandma was there to welcome us and offer her limoncello. Great fun; plus supporting local self-made restauranteur.
31/07/2025: Dorotea isn't just a dinner, but a warming and energizing experience. If you love pasta and more and are looking for deliciousness, this spaghetti restaurant will win you over!

23/08/2025: The people who recommended this place to me had told me I'd eat well, but everything exceeded my expectations. The appetizers were varied and delicious, with dishes that tasted of tradition but were clearly enriched by careful research. The first course was also delicious, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. The truffle was not only noticeable but also visible in abundance, which is anything but a given these days. All for a more than fair price. Last but not least, the quality of the service: the waiters were more than attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.
