Went to this small Enoteca with my girlfriend a couple of nights ago. We had some great glasses of wine exactly to our taste. We were also served a little platter of snacks, some olives, some nice Tarallini and (my personal highlight) some amazing Provola. The wine, the cheese, amazing. We wish we could have come back again but sadly I can only recommend this place for others. Also very fair prices.

A little hidden in an alley is this little gem of a wine bar. We were very well received and learned a lot about both wine, Italy and the Italian language. The wine we bought with us on recommendation was outstanding. Highly recommend a visit!

This was one of the best experiences we had in Puglia. We found this place by googling local wine bars in Polignano a mare and it did not disappoint, it was the most authentic wine experience we have had since being in Italy

It's a wine bar located in a quiet alley. Even though it was past the closing time on Google Maps, they welcomed us with a smile and recommended great wine. They also communicated well with a translator~~ I felt a lot of local vibes!!!!!!

Por una calle lateral justo fuera del casco antiguo encontramos esta joya escondida. Increíbles vinos y gran tabla de quesos y carne con fabulosos productos locales. Muy recomendable la visita.

28/09/2025: Calvi is flavor. It's that dish you wish would never end, that forkful that makes you crave another. From appetizer to dessert, chef Donato Calvi expertly crafted his own restaurant concept: contemporary and vibrant, yet respectful of Italian and regional tradition; simple, yet never predictable. The use of ingredients is intelligent and creative, never lapsing into unnecessary flourishes. The welcoming atmosphere, the attentive and professional service, friendly without ever being pretentious, complete the experience. What can I say, if you find yourself in Altamura—or even just in the surrounding area—Calvi restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Recommended: Grilled beef ossobuco, Scottona steak tartare with ginger mayo, Linguine with red shrimp absolute, Brioche with chocolate chips and gelato. 🔝
