Suggestive and unique restaurant, exquisite food and wine and attentive staff. Since we didn't book, they made us sit at a table with another couple, but we were very happy to chat with them during dinner despite the age difference. We had an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses, a stuffed potato and a whole wheat pizza with toma (delicious) to start. Then two first courses and a second course to share. Finally, a piece of caprese and a digestive to end in style. In short, a wonderful evening, then in Marina di Camerota, a place of my heart, everything is more beautiful!

After so many years, a hint of disappointment!
We are sure that it must have been a coincidence but after many years of frequenting this very typical restaurant last night we ran into a couple of shortcomings: my favorite dish "marracucciata with cuttlefish" was actually with cuttlefish (I think, if not squid) and it was not as tasty as usual; the scottona steak was tough and very thin.
For the rest (cold cuts, cheeses, cavatelli, donuts) always exceptional!
Obviously we will return, as we have for a few decades now!

The place is very characteristic and recalls an old cellar, with a wooden table and exposed barrels. It offers traditional Cilentan cuisine.
Try the maracucciata and the cicci maritati.
In summer, outdoor tables are available while the internal rooms are equipped with air conditioning.

Enthusiastic, in love, orphan. This is me after having tried this memorable place of taste and pleasure for 2 consecutive evenings. Popular nineteenth-century setting with dining room staff dressed in the style of the time. Solid wood tables and benches with glazed terracotta plates and glasses (but they also provide a glass goblet and steel cutlery) Themed furnishings. Quaint and cute. The staff is extremely kind and smiling, the atmosphere is pleasant. Let's get to food, what makes me an orphan of such goodness. Traditional Cilento dishes expertly dosed and balanced for a riot of flavors that gently explode on the palate and expand throughout your being. A cuisine in the manner of grandmothers, without haste, without frills, but with authentic and almost forgotten flavours. The 4 of us ate, a starter of cured meats and cheeses, lagane and chickpeas, cavatielli with sausage ragout, ciambotta, slice of pork and baked potatoes, rabbit with peppers and olives, sciambiella, stuffed pizza with seasonal vegetables, desserts and house wine. Unfortunately we left and I wasn't able to try the whole menu as I would have liked but since nothing disappointed me I'm sure that the other dishes are also excellent. I highly recommend the sciambielle and cavatielli, eating them made me feel like a child again.
Thanks to the kitchen, thanks to the staff, despite the almost 7 hour drive to get to you, I will be back. Quality, taste/price ratio, excellent.

Trattoria tipica con sapori autentici della regione. Paste e carni tipiche. Buona qualità . Da provare se volete qualcosa di originale. Servizio cortese ma piuttosto lento. Bella atmosfera.

A place with nice local atmosphere for evening snacks - we took some plates of antipasti and wine. Place was really busy and Little bit noisy, but come on - that is what Italy is all about :)
