A place with a long history, efficient and friendly staff. It's a shame for the tonnarelli alla gricia which, although pleasant, wallowed in a useless pool of oil, a shame for the rosticciana di cinta which seemed boiled and a shame for the high prices for dishes like this......

We chose this place for the convenience of our accommodation and the very nice reviews which we confirm with full marks. Aside from the beauty of the location, the food was phenomenal! As soon as we arrived they brought us hot focaccia with delicious olive oil. 4 of us had a Tuscan platter plus the Florentine steak with fried potatoes and 4 delicious desserts.
Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Excellent food and excellent service, which is not a given on Christmas Day.

The steak deserves 5 stars: tasty, cooked to perfection, tender without being "mushy"
Unfortunately I have to remove a star for two flaws: the not sharp steak knives (I had to ask for a hacksaw knife which mushy the steak a bit) and the fried potatoes in their skins which I personally can't stand.
The quarter of loose red that I paired with the steak also exceeded expectations.
The service is also good, friendly, helpful and prepared.
Very good overall rating, I will return. 🔝😊

La Cantina da Caino a Monsummano, in località Vergine dei Pini, è un ristorante - pizzeria di antica tradizione dal 1972. Ambiente grande ed accogliente in grado di ospitare anche gruppi numerosi con ampia veranda, giardino esterno e parcheggio riservato. Personale gentile e cordiale e attento al cliente. Servizio veloce. Ottima qualitò con piatti sia di carne che di pesce, altrettanto ottime le pizze: croccanti, sottili e ben lievitate. (complimenti al giovane pizzaiolo Alessio). Chiuso il Lunedi tutto il giorno ed anche il martedi a pranzo. Ci siamo stati sia a pranzo che a cena e ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Complimenti.

La mejor comida que tuvimos en Italia. Fue recomendado por nuestro conserje del hotel como un lugar donde la mayoría de los lugareños comen. Ha superado todas nuestras expectativas. La variedad de la comida, la calidad era excelente. Mi gazpacho y la sopa de hongos de mi esposo estaban deliciosos, el pescado entero con papas asadas, calabacín y otras verduras estaban perfectamente preparados y condimentados.
El servicio era acogedor y atento.
Incluso si estaba fuera de los caminos concurridos, frecuentados por los turistas, esta cena valió la pena hacer 15 minutos en coche.
Ten en cuenta que las porciones son grandes, así que compartir tiene mucho sentido.
