La Cantina da Caino In Monsummano terme

My wife and I were staying in a multi-starred hotel nearby, while taking a morning walk we noticed this restaurant. We reserved a table and were welcomed very well the same evening. After ordering, without warning a plate of steaming focaccia drizzled with extra virgin olive oil arrived: we understood that this would be an excellent dinner. Focaccia and oil looked like Romeo and Juliet. Then an artichoke flan for my wife and ravioli with Cinta Senese ragù for me. Finally two amberjacks in crazy water. What can I say, one dish better than the other. We were able to appreciate the choice of raw materials used by this restaurant, which in our humble opinion are of very high quality. Another thing we really appreciated is the skilful use of flavours, never exaggerated and which respect each other, with great skill. Last thing not to be underestimated, in addition to the menu of land, meat, game, mushrooms and a well-stocked cellar, they manage to master the fish like few seafood restaurants that do it and this is the reason why we had dinner here the last two evenings of our holiday. Too bad we didn't discover it sooner. We highly recommend it.

La Cantina da Caino a Monsummano, in località Vergine dei Pini, è un ristorante - pizzeria di antica tradizione dal 1972. Ambiente grande ed accogliente in grado di ospitare anche gruppi numerosi con ampia veranda, giardino esterno e parcheggio riservato. Personale gentile e cordiale e attento al cliente. Servizio veloce. Ottima qualitò con piatti sia di carne che di pesce, altrettanto ottime le pizze: croccanti, sottili e ben lievitate. (complimenti al giovane pizzaiolo Alessio). Chiuso il Lunedi tutto il giorno ed anche il martedi a pranzo. Ci siamo stati sia a pranzo che a cena e ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Complimenti.

I had the pleasure of dining at Caino - La Cantina, and I must say that the experience was exceptional. The atmosphere of the restaurant is welcoming and full of charm, perfect both for an intimate dinner and for a convivial moment with friends. The staff was attentive and friendly, making us immediately feel at home and recommending the best dishes of the day with passion and competence. The cuisine is truly remarkable: each dish is prepared with very fresh and local ingredients, enhanced by the creativity of the chef who manages to balance tradition and innovation. We tasted several dishes and were impressed by the attention to detail and presentation, which demonstrates the great professionalism of the team in the kitchen. The flavors are authentic and unforgettable, in particular I recommend the fillet with balsamic vinegar, the tuna and the pizza, an explosion of perfectly balanced flavours. The wine list is excellent, with a careful selection that enhances the Italian labels, perfectly paired with the dishes. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, considering the high quality of the cuisine and the service. I recommend Da Caino - La Cantina to anyone looking for an authentic and high-level culinary experience. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area! We can't wait to go back.

La mejor comida que tuvimos en Italia. Fue recomendado por nuestro conserje del hotel como un lugar donde la mayoría de los lugareños comen. Ha superado todas nuestras expectativas. La variedad de la comida, la calidad era excelente. Mi gazpacho y la sopa de hongos de mi esposo estaban deliciosos, el pescado entero con papas asadas, calabacín y otras verduras estaban perfectamente preparados y condimentados. El servicio era acogedor y atento. Incluso si estaba fuera de los caminos concurridos, frecuentados por los turistas, esta cena valió la pena hacer 15 minutos en coche. Ten en cuenta que las porciones son grandes, así que compartir tiene mucho sentido.

Well kept place. Friendly and helpful staff. The food is good expertly cooked and quite well presented. It is usually a satisfactory place even if the last time the pacchero ordered was excessively al dente (a venial sin as the dish was still good). However, it is a place that deserves 4 stars and is to be recommended.
