La Campagnola In Bitritto

Unfortunately the last pizzas (paid 38 euros) were to say the least not up to par with all the previous ones enjoyed in this place. I feel like saying and I repeat with great sadness that this "piece" of the place has unfortunately had a terrible collapse!!! It's a shame because for me it was a point of reference, or rather the only one, for enjoying an excellent gourmet pizza

The first experience at "La Campagnola" in Bitritto was a pleasant discovery because we found everything that contributes to spending an evening eating pizza out: quality ingredients on a light dough, attentive and discreet staff, excellent "location". Already at the entrance you are impressed by the stone coverings on the walls and vaults which create a suggestive and out of the ordinary environment; even the oven at the entrance doesn't spoil the atmosphere because the entrance is beautiful and spacious. The staff accompanied the entire evening with pleasantness, always present but without being noticed. Really good! And then, let's not forget these two beautiful tasty pizzas with soft edges to be enjoyed to the full. The desserts are also good (a babà with cream and a tiramisu), you will absolutely have to come back and try the cuisine of the tavern because everything promises very well.

Kindness, culinary skills and friendliness make this restaurant/pizzeria an excellent point of reference for our reality.

The place is beautiful as soon as you enter, with a welcoming environment and polite and discreet staff. 3 stars for a 15 euro pizza with among other ingredients a rather salty reserve Parma ham and another for 13 without particular merit. Worth coming back to give the restaurant's other menu options a try.

Unique experience. From the moment we read on the menu that all the ingredients they use for their preparations are PDO, we knew we were going to have an exquisite dinner. The restaurant has an intimate and quiet atmosphere, and the waiters' treatment is close and friendly. It should be noted that the waiter who served us even spoke French and Spanish! They gave us a free focaccia appetizer and some free chestnuts to top off the meal. The dishes speak for themselves in the photos, but I would love to highlight the Zucca pizza (easily one of the best I have ever eaten) and the tiramisu (this one, the BEST I have ever had).

Everything from the ambience, hospitality and quality of the dishes exceeded expectations. Pleasure for the mouth and eyes. Very cozy and authentic restaurant with very good food and good service for the money. The pizzas and bruscetta, but also the foccacias and the house dessert were sublime!

One of those hidden gems that fear no comparison. Top quality food, truly excellent service, very nice environment and then... an amazing wine list! To return more often, highly recommended
