So good! I had the ziti alla genovesa with a side of friarielli (slightly bitter stewed greens). Everything was bursting with flavor, super-freshly made, and prepared just right. Service was friendly, helpful, and quick, and the ambience was nice.

After climbing Via San Gregorio Armeno, a must-see is Trattoria Antica Cucina Campagnola, where you'll find authentic traditional Neapolitan cuisine. Their philosophy is a few carefully selected dishes, but well-executed. I ordered ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers, followed by zito alla genovese, meatballs for the main course, and broccoli rabe for the side. All washed down with a glass of good Campanian red wine. I recommend arriving between 12:30 and 12:45 to avoid a wait, especially on Sundays. The staff is impeccable and incredibly helpful in recommending the perfect dish for you. And as an interlude, they even played a lovely Neapolitan serenade with guitar and mandolin.

15/11/2025: A true local pizzeria run by a family — I’m pretty sure it’s the father and son working together. They put so much effort into everything they do, constantly checking on the tables and making sure every guest feels taken care of. A place I truly recommend.
24/10/2025: Very attentive staff and excellent food. I tried the roasted mortadella on a bed of arugula with burrata and was delighted 😍 the pizza is also good.
