I leave Naples with memories of the ziti alla genovese I tasted at this trattoria: a dish I was unfamiliar with, but with every bite, I was truly blown away. All the other dishes were also excellent, from the zucchini blossom to the stuffed escarole, which we devoured but which, unfortunately, you won't see in the photos in this review. The place is simple and welcoming, which I personally appreciated; it fully reflects the concept of a trattoria and wine bar. The staff were truly kind. Perhaps the best place I tried during my few days in Naples.

The food from Naples was very good, their dishes are exquisite, and the service from Manuela, our waitress, was very professional. The Frutti di Mare pasta dish was spectacular.

Well... I went there as an artist because my two friends and I attended a Tombola Scostumata. We were the CESSLER sisters (the nickname was never more appropriate). The group that commissioned this performance was happy with it (at least that's what it seemed like to us... 😁). The location is truly beautiful... in the center of Naples, but what really pleased me was being able to confirm once again that the hospitality of the merchants in my city is unparalleled. The food is not excellent, but better. I'll tell you something stupid, every time I eat a Genovese anywhere in the universe, it always comes back to me between 2 and 3 in the morning... in this case, when the Genovese plate arrived, I asked our host (the owner, so to speak... I know you're thinking, but we know that guest means the owner... well, I'm saying this for myself, because every time I say or write it, it seems a bit strange to me... oh, so who am I at that moment?... Guest, I can't find myself... oh well... 🤔). I was like, I ask how long the Genovese was cooked, and he tells me 8 to 10 hours... I think he's taking me for a ride? instead the taste is that the meat melts in your mouth with an exaggerated softness ... I skip straight to 2 am ... I anxiously await the moment when the Genovese comes to visit me at 2, 3, 4 ... nothing rude ... and you want to tell me you didn't come by..? .. well this is to say that the Genovese is truly excellent ... the staff of an exaggerated friendliness who were joking with us who were busy entertaining the other guests.. if I had to recommend someone and you want to give me credit on what I just wrote go there and if I told you the truth write to me below.. ERMÈ YOU WERE RIGHT.

Authentic and well-presented dishes. A well-conceived wine list that reflects the restaurant's target market. A little jazz in the background would have been ideal, if I may offer a humble suggestion. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back with friends.

10/11/2025: An excellent dinner at Tavernetta Cinquantotto, a restaurant that perfectly combines a traditional Neapolitan atmosphere with a modern and refined touch. The tuff interiors and soft lighting create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a special occasion. The menu offers seafood and meat dishes, with the freshest ingredients and never boring combinations. The appetizers are excellent, balanced in flavor and presentation; the first courses are a must-try, where tradition meets a touch of creativity. The service is impeccable: courteous staff, well-timed courses, and great attention to detail. The quality/price ratio is also excellent, considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. In short, a restaurant worth discovering and that will leave you wanting to return. Congratulations to the entire staff!
09/11/2025: 🍋 Return to Meta: Emotions and Haute Cuisine at Tavernetta 58 We returned to Tavernetta 58, and once again, the experience was simply extraordinary. Raffaele, the owner, welcomed us with his usual kindness, his smile and attention to detail making every guest feel at home. Claudio accompanied us to the table, offering impeccable service and extraordinary guidance on a true tasting journey through creativity and tradition. We began with two appetizers that were a concentration of originality and technique: Essenza di Parmigiana, an eggplant in osmosis stuffed with Agerola provola, breaded with its peel powder and panko breadcrumbs—a play of textures and flavors that reinterprets a great classic with a modern twist. Octopus cooked at a low temperature with garlic and thyme, then glazed with teriyaki sauce and covered with a glaze made from the octopus's cooking water: a surprising dish, balanced and full of personality. For wine, we chose Biancolella di Ischia, a native white grape of the island: fragrant, elegant, and perfect to accompany the entire meal. The first courses lived up to expectations (and even exceeded): Tortello alla genovese, with a soft and flavorful filling, served over a velvety and intense Parmesan fondue. Terra Mare, a masterpiece: pasta buttons filled with Vico Equense caciocavallo cheese and shellfish bisque, with clams, raw scampi, and flavored green olive oil. A dish that elegantly and harmoniously expresses the territory between the sea and the hills. To conclude on a sweet note, two unforgettable desserts: Tiramisu, classic but perfectly executed. Ricordi Siciliani, a poem of flavors: creamy ricotta encased in a cylinder wrapped in pistachio icing, with chocolate chips, candied orange, and a crispy cannoli shell. Special praise goes to Chef Pasquale, a true interpreter of signature cuisine that combines technique, passion, and respect for the raw ingredients. In short: Tavernetta 58 is an unmissable stop for those seeking a refined yet authentic gastronomic experience, in a welcoming setting with meticulous attention to detail.
