Perfect place for brunch/linner. They have "halal" pizza collection for moslem/kosher guests. It is located right in front of the ferry terminal connecting Varenna to the small cities around Lake Como, so you can enjoy the sun, grab some food, while waiting for your transport. It is also only 5 min walk from the train station

We stopped in for brunch after we took the train from Milan to Varenna. The restaurant allowed smoking and the server took a very long time to come to our table (got the drink and food orders for multiple tables that came in after us before us) but the views made up for it. The food was decent, and by the time we finished our meal, the line for the ferry had cleared out and we were able to get a ferry almost to ourselves.

My friends and I were starving and we took a chance on La Cambusa. We were so surprised with the outstanding service from Bes, along with the delicious breakfast we had. We got some delicious cocktails here that were so fresh and tasty. I think we are coming back tomorrow too! Highly recommend for anyone looking for some delicious food!!

Convenientemente situado cerca del ferry. Comer al aire libre, así como en el interior. Entró sin reserva y tenía pasta con pizza. Excelente relación calidad-precio y maravillosa vista de la puesta de sol. Disfrutó del vino de chianti y rosa. El almuerzo panini era excelente también. Las opciones de postres se veían increíbles, pero estábamos demasiado llenos.

23/09/2025: The owner is as lovely as an aunt. She'll give you any advice you need. The pizzaiolo knows how to make a good crust. Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The ingredients are of very good quality, as befits Italy. The portion-to-price ratio is very good. I recommend the charming heart-shaped pizza.

17/07/2025: Excellent restaurant in a mountain setting, with a frequently changing menu and refined dishes at a fair price. A great place to impress friends in a small village in the Grigna hills. We often return to the inn, and never once have we disappointed our expectations. I always recommend it to friends and acquaintances. I'd say it's my favorite restaurant... and no, I won't post photos because the dishes are so beautiful that I'd ruin the surprise. 😉
