Anyone in Grado who insists on drinking wheat beer and complains about "sour" wine should probably just stay home and drink Spezi.... I ate very well, the food was generous, and the staff were very friendly. The only downside was the high price.

I hope my review will offset the unjustified star ratings somewhat. We had a wonderful evening in a lovely setting with very friendly service. Everything was absolutely perfect. If I had paid attention to the reviews beforehand, I wouldn't have gone in. I'm glad I don't pay much attention to the German negative review culture.

The food was very good. The salt-crusted branzino was fantastic and highly recommended. The service was fine for the crowd. I don't understand some of the rather mediocre reviews. Good pasta, great pizza, and friendly service. It took a little longer at times, and it was also busy, but that's to be expected in Grado during the summer. There weren't many vegetarian options, but that's not uncommon in Grado.

Since we usually go out to eat quite early, we almost always get a table for two. Around eight, things are completely different, and you should have a reservation here, as you would anywhere else. The service was a bit awkward at first, but then became friendly but reserved. The recommended house wine was the ideal accompaniment to our grilled sea bass with grilled polenta and potatoes. The side dishes are rather subtle, as seems to be the norm here, but the fish was a dream. Perfectly prepared and presented. The portion size was absolutely fine for us, even without the appetizer and other dishes. There are certainly cheaper restaurants nearby, but the service is excellent. One positive thing I'd like to note: This was the first restaurant in the area where they didn't rush to accommodate the crowds – very pleasant! That evening we had the best fish of our entire vacation. Conclusion: Cheap is different, but it was worth it!
