La Cadrega In Carimate

Last night we went for a birthday dinner, a place where my partner had already been for a dinner, and on that occasion he had already booked for last night. I want to compliment you for everything: dinner was great, plentiful, very accurate, Special compliments to the Chef and excellent place, we will return soon and I wanted to recommend it to those who have not yet been.

We spent the evening in this place, with excellent meat and a fantastic bottle of Brunello. Friendly and kind staff. Quality of products, truly excellent!

I've been hearing about this restaurant for months, if not years, and finally the time has come to try it. The result? No spoilers! 🏠 LOCATION | an iconic trattoria where it feels like you've been catapulted back a few years. Hanging objects, wood everywhere, delicious trinkets... In short, compliments to the care the owners put into the interiors 🚶‍♂ STAFF | the owner is friendly, professional and never intrusive while the girl who served us was kind and always smiling. A service done as it should be 👨‍🍳 CUISINE | typical Lombard cuisine with the great traditional dishes that you can also find on their website. We went for polenta with ossobuco and veal that I don't remember exactly, but still typical. 💶 BILL | about prices we're around €30 per person for a dinner that fills you up properly. Highly recommended both for the quality of the food and the prices

I don't have photos of the restaurant or the dishes and this is always a great sign for me....I was more focused on the dishes than on the photos. Here you can taste many different dishes of very high quality. Last time I was served a perfect ass to say the least! We continued with a grilled rib eye and I assure you it was perfect. Every time I'm in the area for golf I make sure to go and have lunch at Cadrega, therefore, absolutely highly recommended, indeed, not to be missed!

Booking a table at "La Cadrega" is a bit like managing to get the line in a game show... so don't give up if you don't succeed the first 3 or 4 times because it's worth it. It is impossible not to try the Fiorentina which is rightly praised as very tender meat, presented hot but raw, perfectly cooked (it is served with French fries to which I personally would have preferred roasted potatoes but these are details). The onion soup is also very good and digestible. The service is informal and friendly, they are ready to joke but respect the space of the diners. The environment is rustic with rustic furnishings in perfect style with respect to the dishes offered. Many objects of various kinds hanging and scattered around (oil bars, plastic dwarfs, necklaces of world banknotes...) give the impression of entering an old things market. Personally I would remove 90% of it to highlight only some more significant details.

Excellent location to enjoy good meat, a typical environment where you can taste Brianza and Lombardy dishes.

Sempre una garanzia cenare in questa osteria.. la carne è praticamente di livello imbattibile con una cottura favolosa.. l'ambiente piccolo molto carino..fantastici anche i dolci..infine propietario e personale molto gentile e disponibile.. raccomandatissimo !!!!
