We stumbled upon this place by chance on our way back from a trip to L'Aquila, looking for a place to have lunch, but were discouraged by the late opening hours. I only noticed this restaurant because I looked around. The very young, yet very knowledgeable and competent owner not only welcomed us with a smile despite the late hour, but also listed the dishes for us so much that just listening to him made your mouth water! Wow, these dishes are a delight... from the amazing cured meats where you can taste the real quality, to the first courses... my homemade gnocchi had enough bite to make you close your eyes with every bite! This lovely restaurant where quality and passion reign supreme was an incredible discovery! Bravo!

Good, good, good. Family-run, and Alin knows how to explain the local products, which he knows very well. The area is dedicated to growing saffron and truffles. I recommend it.

Ottima accoglienza in un ambiente genuinamente autentico (non lasciatevi ingannare dall'aspetto esterno). Cibo del territorio preparato con cura al momento, eccezionale l'agnello e la scamorza. Gentilissimi senza affettazione nè esagerazione. Conto giusto.

Quando prenotate in questo ristorante, ricordatevi di chiamare più di qualche ora prima e chiedete il “pasticcio di farro”, allo zafferano o ai funghi e tartufo, o al condimento -di stagione- che Vi propongono. E’ un piatto eccezionale, peccato che non sia in menù (nell’aprile del 2025) e vada ordinato. Molto buoni anche i secondi, discreta la cantina. Personale gentilissimo, molto efficiente.

When you go to this restaurant, remember to call more than a few hours in advance (perhaps the day before) and ask for the "spelt pie", with saffron or mushrooms and truffles or the seasonal dressing they offer. It's an exceptional dish, too bad it's not on the menu and must be ordered. Very kind staff, very efficient.

Well-prepared traditional dishes, seasonings with saffron and porcini mushrooms are particularly good and well prepared.
Friendly and very helpful service, we enjoyed the Montepulciano house wine. Excellent value for money. I recommend it!!
