La Ca D'Olga In La morra

This is our first time staying here; we already knew the restaurant from a previous visit. The food at Ca d'Olga is very fine, fresh, and delicious! Highly recommended. The restaurant is cozy and correspondingly quiet. The garden is beautifully landscaped and very spacious; the rabbits literally say goodnight to you here. The helpers in and around the house are all friendly and helpful; you won't want for anything. The rooms are simple but functional, probably a bit warm in summer. It's a bit noisy, and at least the bathrooms could use a bit of a renovation. But we would stay here again; it's very quiet at night, everything is well-maintained and clean, and the breakfast buffet awaits guests with fresh delicacies.

È stata una piacevolissima scoperta ed esperienza. Ottimi piatti basati su prodotti del territorio, scelte mirate senza proporre un menù sconfinato ma tenendo come obiettivo la qualità delle materie prime che compongono i piatti. E infatti lo chef mantiene le promesse e il risultato è ottimo. Anche la lista dei vini offre il meglio dei vitigni e delle eccellenze locali. Il tutto mantenendo un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Servizio e dettagli impeccabili, dal valore doppio vista la giovane età dei gestori e del personale. Bella struttura moderna ma con inalterata l'atmosfera che viene dal passato. Bellissima location esterna con giardino e spazio per aperitivi, degustazioni o semplice relax. Funziona anche come agriturismo con stanze e piscina. Infine ci hanno anche fatto una bellissima sorpresa che non svelo ma che sarà un'ottima occasione per tornarci!

Buono il cibo sebbene poca scelta, classici piatti piemontesi con alcune piccole rivisitazioni. Bello il luogo, peccato per i tavoli con i bambini urlanti.. ma d’altronde l’educazione è data dai genitori (anche se a volte da ex cameriera, persino io gentilmente intervenni) perché non bisogna disturbare gli altri clienti.. se si è maleducati, si perdono clienti. La pecca di questo posto è stato il servizio: abbiamo ordinato antipasti e primi. quando abbiamo finito volevamo ordinare, o quanto meno dare un’occhiata, i secondi. i camerieri da subito ci hanno messo fretta e al momento di ordinare i secondi ci hanno chiesto se volevamo i caffè, neanche i dolci o chiedere se gradivamo altro. ripeto, sono una ex cameriera.. credo che la cosa più importante del locale sia il guadagno e il cliente soddisfatto. posso capire la carenza di personale ma se io prenoto, non voglio fretta. fossi arrivata senza prenotazione e ci fossero altre persone ad aspettare, sarei stata la prima ad andarmene perché capisco la situazione. ma non è stato questo il caso. i camerieri sembrava che ad ogni nostra richiesta come i secondi, poi dolci e poi caffè/amari avessero una faccia del tipo “ah.. ancora staranno qua” con lieve disagio seppur leggibile dalle loro espressioni. probabilmente adatto a una location di matrimonio ma se andate in coppia o famiglia e volete dell’intimità.. beh scordatevela se ci sono famiglie con bambini poco educati. anche qui, separerei i tipi di clienti visto la presenza di ben due piccole sale. lo spazio è poco, se in più c’è caos non ci si gode niente.

Quiet atmosphere, very kind welcome and delicious food. The tajarin with Bra sausage ragù are sublime

I visited La Cà d'Olga last week and had an amazing time! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Quiet, beautiful park, very good food even if the menu has a limited choice. If I can give some advice, I would add more raw and cooked vegetables.

A happy Sunday in November. I ate here just a month ago with my parents. We didn't expect the place to be so nice going up the street, but luckily we were pleasantly surprised. Nestled in a beautiful green lawn with a nice swimming pool, there is this restaurant where we ate really well. The frèt macarons with basil and hazelnut pesto far exceeded my expectations. But even the poached egg on the appetizer list had a lot to tell, even if I could only taste it because it wasn't my choice (unfortunately). In short, I don't want to go on any further, it's understood that I had a good time, you go too, right?
